(Author's Note: Time to test how much you can handle the dark)
-(Still) Ezra POV-
"But, the good times never seem to last, do they little boy?", she asked.
My whole world just stopped. Everything around me was tuned out as the temperature turned into the dreaded cold. My spoon slipped through me fingers and fell into my lap; spilling the soup my spoon contained.
Why was she here? Why now? Can't she just leave me alone?
I felt someone shake me back to reality. It was Kanan.
"Ezra? What is it?", he asked, worry threaded through his voice.
"Sh-she's h-here", my teeth chattered.
"Where? I don't s-", Sabine started.
"Hello everyone. Miss me?", she said.
I saw everyone tense up and slowly turned towards the corner of the room. Kanan took a step in front of me to shield me from her. Before he did, I got a full few of her.
She looked directly at me while leaning against the wall. Her appearance looked the same, but her face was different. Her eyes were gone. That by itself would have made me feel better (because her eyes gives me the chills) but that just made it worse. Behind her eyes were darkness. Not the 'turn off the light' darkness. The kind of darkness that makes you shake in fear. The kind of darkness that you could never find your way out of. The kind of darkness that no matter what light you have, will never triumph the dark. The kind of darkness that could taint anything.
Out of the darkness of her eyes, there was a stream of blood constantly flowing from her eye sockets and mouth. The steadily flowing iron crimson made a pool around her feet in record time.
I shook myself of her eyeless gaze. But even with Kanan standing in front of me, I could feel her eyes on me. Curiosity got the best of me and I felt myself lean out from behind Kanan.
"You are not getting near him", Kanan sharply said. His tone felt like anger and hatred. But with a little replaying in my mind, a few strands of fear was laced in his tone.
"Oh I don't have to be near him to inflict pain. Want a demonstration?", she asked.
My eyes widened with fear. I was tired of feeling pain from her. When was this ever going to stop?
She stood up and walked towards Kanan. "You know, I always like to do the torturing myself but I have friends on the other side". She stopped walking and lifted up her fingers.
Time stopped as she looked right at me. My stomach turned in knots as the suspension grew so loud you could hear it knocking on the wall. Every second she stared at me, I felt myself getting lost in her eyes.
"Time to taste your first day in hell, Ezra", she said with a smile.
Then she snapped her fingers.
Instantly, pain seared at my side. My body fell off the bed as I screamed in pain. My hands shook as they clutched my stomach. I slowly pulled myself into fetal position and was taking short breaths. It hurt to move or to even think. I clawed at the ground, trying to get something to hold onto. To my avail, I found nothing.
"Ezra!", Hera yelled as she dashed to my side. Hera and Sabine rolled me to my back and my eyes could not focus on either of them. The pain felt as if she stuck me in the side with a light saber then twisted it around. It felt like she was the artist and I was the canvas.
"What did you do to him?", Zeb questioned.
"Nothing big. Just a little reminder".
"And what are you trying to remind him of?", Kanan asked as he glanced back at me.
