*no one POV*
Bulkhead was driving Miko back home and the two of them were just singing songs by their favorite band, Slash Monkey.
But Miko stopped when she received a notification on her cellphone. She reached into her pocket to check it out.
Help Som guys r kidnap meele
Miko stopped.
"Hey why'd you stop Miko? It's our favorite part!" Bulkhead grumbled. Her face turned pale.
"Uh, Bulk?"
Bulkhead paused the song when he heard her shaking voice.
"What's wrong?" He asked, growing concerned.
"You know the new girl? Erin?"
"Yeah, what about her?"
"I just got a text from her saying she was being kidnapped by some guys..."
Bulkhead stopped driving.
"Wait what? Did the cons take her?"
"Don't know. She said 'guys' so probably humans, I don't know! We need to get back to base and inform Optimus!" Miko rushed her guardian. Bulkhead wasted no time and called for a groundbridge so he could get there faster, and urgently deliver the news.
The familiar blue and green vortex appeared and Bulkhead drove inside.
Bulkhead could sense Miko's worry.
"Don't worry, Miko. Optimus will figure out a plan to save her. I'm sure," he tried to reassure her. Miko took in a few deep breaths to calm herself down.
They soon found themselves back in the familiar military silo.
Arcee and Bumblebee were on patrol, and their human partners had already gone back to their home, so it was only Ratchet and Optimus at base.
"Now, what was it you so urgently needed to tell us to make you call me to send a groundbridge?" Ratchet questioned, which caught the attention of Optimus.
Miko opened the door and got out.
"Coz I just got a message from Erin," Miko showed Optimus her phone.
His optics widened when he fully understood the message.
"What? What is it?" Ratchet asked.
"I got a message from Erin saying she is being kidnapped," Miko told the medic.
"That's ridiculous. If she truly was being kidnapped, she couldn't have sent that message!" He brushed it off.
"Maybe. But she doesn't seem like the type of person to lie," Miko placed her hands on her hips, looking at Ratchet angrily.
"Okay, so if she was being kidnapped? Why should we care? We only just met her," Ratchet questioned. He didn't seem to care less. Or did he?
"Ratch, did you just forget that she holds one of Cybertron's most powerful relics?" Bulkhead shot back.
Before Ratchet could say anything, he stopped when he saw Optimus's face.
"If the decepticons find her, she will be in grave danger. I will not endanger a human, one whom is also close to our human allies, to get killed because of an ancient relics she posses. We must find her and convince her to give us the relic, for if not, she will be in danger for the rest of her life. Is that understood Ratchet?"
Ratchet had nothing else to say. He just nodded.
"Good. Now, track the current location of the relic. I will inform Arcee and Bumblebee to follow the coordinates and try to keep the kidnappers at bay and to rescue Erin," Optimus instructed Ratchet, to which he mumbled something the Prime could barely pick up.
Ratchet got to work, and managed to find her location in less than five minutes.
"I found her position. I'll send the coordinates to Arcee and Bumblebee now," Ratchet informed.
"Optimus Prime to Arcee and Bumblebee, we have reason to believe that Erin was kidnapped. Ratchet has sent you the coordinates of her current position, so try and stop her kidnappers, if not, assailants," he spoke in his comm link. Arcee and Bumblebee immediately got to work.
In the heart of the bustling city, a sleek black van tore through the streets, its tires screeching against the pavement as it weaved through traffic. Inside, Erin a victim of a brazen kidnapping, was placed in an unconscious state, leg wounded, and her mouth covered in a gag
Determined to rescue the captive, Arcee, and Bumblebee gave chase, racing through the dark and empty streets in pursuit of the van.
As the chase intensified, the van's driver grew more reckless, taking daring risks to evade capture. Arcee and Bumblebee pursued with unwavering determination.
But as they neared the van, disaster struck. The van's driver, desperate to shake off their pursuers, swerved suddenly, causing a chain reaction collision. Arcee skidded out of control, throwing her to the ground with a sickening thud. Meanwhile, Bumblebee spun off the road, coming to a halt with a screech of metal against asphalt.
As Arcee and Bumblebee struggled to their feet, they watched in horror as the van disappeared into the distance, its captive still trapped inside.
"Urghhhhh," Arcee cried out in defeat. Bumblebee put an arm on her shoulder to calm her down.
"It's alright. We will rescue her, next time, with Optimus," Bumblebee beeped.
Arcee sighed.
"Ratchet, we need a bridge. We were unable to stop the kidnappers. I repeat, mission failed."
A/N: sorry this was short. I wanted the next part to be a mystery or smth like that.
Thank you for your patience.
