A\N: Since we didn't see Will's funeral, I decided to do it for us. This is a sad, tragic/romance oneshot.

She's wearing a black dress with black heels, looking at herself in her mirror, her eyes full of tears. She dreaded getting out of bed today, knowing it was his funeral but she remembered a promise, a promise they had made to each other years ago when he ended up in the locker room on a raised bed after being hit by a baseball during a game, an ice pack to his head, and his arm in a sling, a promise she'd never thought she'd have to carry out.
"Will!" Alicia says as she runs into the locker room. Her best friend smiles as she puts a hand on his shoulder, her worry disappearing.
"Don't you dare do that to me again." She scolds him as tears start making their way down her face. When she had seen him go down, hard, her heart had stopped beating until he sat up with the help of the ref and a few of him team members.
"I'm sorry, Leesh." Will says as he puts the ice pack down on his lap and wipes away the tears.
"I want you to promise me something," he suddenly says, removing his hand away from her face. She looks at him, her eyes on his face. "Anything." She replies softly, gripping his shoulder.
"if I die before you, I want you to speak at my funeral, tell how much we had together, how good we are at mock court and how, when the time comes, how good we are at kicking ass in the court room, I want you to promise to say whatever you like about me, regardless of how you feel or if you're crying, make me proud at my funeral." Will says, Alicia nods. "I'll make you proud, Will." Will smiles at her.
"You already are making me proud, Alicia."
With their promise echoing in her head, she reluctantly climbed out of bed and went to shower and started to get ready to make Will proud of her.
A knock on her bedroom door makes her drop her earring on her dresser. The door opens a fraction and Zach pokes his head in around the door, he gives her a small smile.
"Diane Lockhart is here." Her son tells her as he opens the door wider and lets himself into her bedroom, looking at her as he sits on her unmade bed.
"Look, Mom, I didn't know Will, but on the few times I met him, I knew he loved you, and I knew you loved him too, he made you happy, I could see that, so could Grace, and we know how much it hurt when you broke it off with him." Her son says, her eyes widen: how do he and Grace know about her affair with Will? She asks herself. Zach just chuckles.
"Mom, whenever he called, you smiled and laughed like you were a teenager, whenever his name was mentioned, you'd light up." He answers.
"I miss him, Zach." Alicia says sadly. Zach gets off the bed and wraps her in a hug. "I know you do, Mom." Her son says softly. Alicia pulls away from her son and gives him a smile, walking over to her bed and picks up her black coat and her purse, her eyes catching the silver photo frame she has on her nightstand: it's a photo of a younger version of herself and Will, smiling at one of his basketball game, he has an arm wrapped around her shoulders and she's leaning into his side, a cap on her head, a smile on both their faces.
"I'm going to make you proud, Will." She says to the photo before leaving her bedroom.

Diane is waiting in the living room with Grace, wearing a black dress with a gold broach. "Alicia." Her former boss says with a small smile.
"Hi, Diane." Her voice cracks just as the blonde woman wraps her in a hug. They both need this hug.
