24th September 1996

Having been at Hogwarts for long enough, the days become more pronounced, Thea begins to remember where she should be at what time. This also means she can take more risks, slotting more comfortably into her environment.

Bar Mattheo, everyone else has become significantly warmer to her than the first week. Enzo, Theo and Daphne needed no persuasion, however Pansy and Blaise no longer look at her skeptically, is if under the impression she could hex them at any second. Malfoy is fairly unbiased at least, makes little effort to engage in conversation not centerer around Hermione, yet isn't overly bothered by her presence.

"A party is what we need." Theo waltzes down into the common room, dropping violently into the empty spot beside Daphne, causing her to throw her arms out to brace herself. She leans back slowly, readjusting the thick black headband nestled into her perfect white hair, regularly changing her visual field in Theo's direction.

"Have we not only been back at school for 2 and a half weeks?" Enzo calls from the air chair by the fireplace.

"Don't be a such a prefect Lorenzo." Draco waves his hand in dismissal.

"I'm not prefecting anything Malfoy, i was just going to state that might be a new record for the quickest back-to-school party yet."

"Who's keeping track?" Theo waves his arms about, sitting upright again, in some form of excitement. "We should do one soon. This weekend?"

"Slow down Theodore." Blaise enters the room via the portrait, closely followed by Pansy and Mattheo. "Aren't you a little busy this weekend?"

Theo cocks his head in slight confusion, before widening his eyes and sighing. He leans back against the sofa, making Daphne shift again, their shoulders touching. "That fucking asshole."

"And what have you done wrong this time?" Pansy sighs, sounding overall fed up and bored. She follows Blaise into the centre of the circle, heading straight to the chaise lounge. Spinning and falling effortlessly, she seems to sit extremely elegantly, almost like the chair was build specifically for her.

Thea turns to face Enzo, who is already looking at her out of the corner of his eye. Upon eye contact, he immediately looks away.

"Snape's blessed me with the pleasure of a Saturday evening detention." Theo stretches, his arms falling across the back of the sofa.

Blaise sits down in the space next to Thea, smirking before Theo's even opened his mouth.

Thea watches Theo prepare to tell the story, opting to remain oblivious to Mattheo as he drops into the sofa, beside Draco. Once again, no contact has occurred since Saturday, despite constantly being around each other.

"Well i was late to the lesson, as you all probably remember." Theo begins. "Then he held me back, blah blah blah, and then i called him 'mate' and he... didn't like it very much."

"You really need to rein it in Theo." Daphne turns her head to face him, her arms still folded across her body. "He'll be giving you detentions all year, just like last year, and the year before, oh and the year before that." She begins to sit up progressively as she talks, leaning closer to him.

"Oh Grassy." Unexpectedly, he does the same, yet a lot faster, and they nearly collide with each other in the middle. She begins to lean back shocked, stopped by his arm that is thrown around her shoulder. "You worry about me too much."

"Get a room." Draco scoffs, standing up from the sofa. Daphne immediately ducks under Theo's arm, and begins to scratch the same spot above her eyebrow, which Thea has quickly recognised as a habit of hers to hide the red of her cheeks.
