"Be grateful."

I looked at the reflection of Theo's horrified face as he sat at the back of Lando's car. "I didn't want to drive you to her parents' house, but since it's Olive here we're talking about, I'm letting it go."

"He won't so easily be your personal driver," I folded my arms across my chest. Theo simply nodded with no words said, and was quiet for the rest of the car journey.

My parents lived on the outsides of London just in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood. They were the unfriendly ones. Lando stopped his car outside of my old house, as Theo climbed out and waited by the front door for me. Lando gave me a grin.

"I'll see you afterwards, yes?" He confirmed.

I nodded. "I'll see you afterwards. Hopefully my Mum doesn't notice anything."

"Like the hickeys on your neck?" I slapped his arm playfully. "Sorry. You did put some concealer on?"

"I did, or else Theo would have noticed," He leant over the gap between our seats and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "I love you. I'll see you later."

He hummed as I got out of the car, Theo on his phone. "Hey."

"Hey," I simply said before knocking on the door. "Don't say anything about us being anything, okay? We're still in a perfect relationship, and we're perfectly normal."

"What do you- anyways, anything happens, I'll still love you," He blew me a kiss. I flipped him off which left him distraught.

"Mum!" I exclaimed as she gave me a smile.

"Theo!" She screamed and hugged him tightly. My smile faded. It was normal. Mum never liked me much; she'd always wanted a son. Theo was of course the spotlight.

Mum and Dad gave him multiple boxes of snacks, drinks, which kept him entertained throughout the entire course of the meal. My stomach growled as I watched him eat the biscuits.

"Oh, love, are you hungry?" Mum asked. "I've got the app for ordering food, you only need to pay for it yourself."

I shook my head. "I'm fine. I'm not starving."

"Are you sure you don't want one?" Theo offered me a biscuit as he struck his hand forward. "I mean I've got loads-"

"It's fine!" Dad yelled out of nowhere as we all jumped at his bellowing voice. "It's fine. We gifted those biscuits to Theo, not Olivia."

It was like they cared about a random boy more than their own daughter. I played with my hair and texted Lando the whole time as they talked about life.

I quickly gathered up my things.

My parents didn't even pay attention as I slipped out of the house, the sound of a loud engine catching my ear. I turned around and grinned at Lando as he opened the car door next to me. I climbed in, as per usual, the passenger princess.
