She was the one who rescued Abhir from the landslide. Is unknown to the fact that Abhir is her own grandson. Is Abhir's badi mumma.
Abhir: Badi mumma aaj main bohot zyada khush hoon.
He tells her the day's happenings. Naira is happy hearing this.
Naira: Abhir beta main bohot khush hoon ki tujhe finally tumhari family mil hi gayi.
Abhir: Badi mumma aapko pata hai chotu na bilkul aapke jaisi hai. Strong, straight forward ekdam sherni type. Meri mumma bhi sherni hai par Abhira woh toh mumma se bhi badi sherni hai.
Naira: Interesting. Teri behen se milna hoga Abhir.
Abhir: Mumma shaam ko aap mere saath hospital chaliye, main aapko milata hoon chotu se.
Evening Abhir and Naira come to the hospital to meet Abhira. None of the Poddars are present that time. They enter the ward and see Abhira awake. Abhira doesn't notice Naira.
Abhir: Abhira.
Abhira: Dev sir aap.
Abhir: Sir nahi bhaiya.
Abhira: Bhaiya????
Abhir: Ha main tera bada bhai hoon, tera Abhir bhaiya. Yeh dekho.

Abhira has tears in her eyes seeing the pic. She tries to get up but is unable to do Abhir helps her in sitting up.
Abhira: Bhai aap zinda ho, aap toh uss landslide mein mar gaye te na. Aap kaha te itne saal?
Abhir: Nahi main zinda bach gaya tha, meri badi mumma unhone meri jaan bachai aur mujhe adopt kiya. Mujhe toh laga ki uss landslide mein mumma mar gayi hai. Lekin aaj maine jab tujhe blood donate kiya tab pata chala ki tu meri chotu hai. Chotu inse mil yeh meri badi mumma hai Tina Shikawat.
Abhira greets her.
Abhira: Namaste Tina aunty.
Naira: Namaste beta. Aur tu mujhe Abhir ki tarah badi mumma keh sakti ho.
Abhira: Ji. Badi mumma kya main aapko hug kar sakti hoon?
Naira nods in a yes after which Abhira immediately hugs her. Abhira feels a certain peace in Naira's arms.
Abhira: Badi mumma aapko hug karke mujhe wohi sukoon mila joh mumma ko hug karke milta hai. Ek minute bhai aapka naam Dev Shikawat kyun hai?
Abhir: Yeh naam mujhe mumma papa ki bohot yaad dilata tha, unko khone ka dard kam hi nahi horaha tha. Toh jab badi mumma ne mujhe legally adopt kiya tab meri request pe unhone mera naam change kardiya. Waise mumma kaha hai chotu? Mujhe mumma se milna hai.
Abhira: Bhai mumma coma mein hai.
The duo are shocked hearing it. Abhira then tells everything how Yuvraj was going to marry her forcefully and had shot Akshu, how Akshu is in coma due to it and gave her responsibility to Armaan hence they got married on Akshu's request.
She takes them both to the other room where a comatosed Akshu is kept. A teary eyed Abhir goes and sits on the stool near her bed. Naira looks at Akshu and feels a sense of familiarity, she feels a deep connection with Akshu.
Abhir: Mumma main Abhir aapka betu, main zinda hoon mumma yahi aapke paas betha hoon. Lekin yeh aapne kya halat banayi hai apni, aap aise acche nahi lagte mumma. Mumma uthiye na dekho itne saal baad hum dono saath mein hai, aap uthke apne betu ko gale nahi lagayenge.
Abhir hugs Akshu and starts crying. Suddenly Akshu's breathing starts becoming heavy which worries everyone, Naira is confused as to why she's so worried about Akshu. A panicked Abhira calls the doctor who comes and checks her. The nurse gives Akshu a injection which makes her stable.
Abhir: Doctor meri mumma woh theek toh hai na.
Doctor: Congratulations patient coma se bahar hai, ab woh ekdam theek hogayi hai. Woh ab kisi pal hosh mein aayegi.
Everyone are extremely happy hearing this. Akshu opens her eyes and first sees Abhira.
Akshu: Choti.
Abhira: Mumma.
She emotionally hugs her mother, after sometime she breaks the hug.
Abhira: Mumma aapke liye ek surprise hai, inse miliye.
Abhira holds Abhir's hand and brings him to Akshu. Akshu looks at Abhir and feels a connection with him. Akshu gets flashes of her betu Abhir.
Abhir: Aapne pehchana mujhe?
Akshu: Abhir.
Abhir: Mumma.
Akshu has tears of happiness, she is delighted seeing her betu alive. The duo have a emotional reunion. Abhir then tells her everything how Abhir works in his office, how she met with an accident and needed blood which made his realise that she is his sister.
Abhir: Mumma inse miliye yeh meri badi mumma hai jinhone meri jaan bachai thi, inke saath hi main bada hua hoon.
The moment Akshu sees Naira she is shocked.
Akshu: Aap?
Naira: Beta tum mujhe jaanti ho?
Akshu: Mumma.
Naira: What?
Akshu: Aap meri mumma hai.
Naira: Yeh tum kya keh rahi ho beta tum meri beti kaise hosakti ho, meri toh koi santaan hi nahi hai.
Akshu: Main sach bol rahi hoon aap meri mumma hi hai. Aap mujhe nahi pehchanti kyunki last time jab hum saath te tab main sirf ek 6 mahine ki bacchi thi. Mumma aap meri maa ho Naira Singhania Goenka aur main aapki beti Akshu Akshara Goenka Sharma.
Hearing the name Akshu blurry flashes come in Naira's mind which gets clear.
Naira: Akshi.
Akshu: Mumma.
Naira hugs Akshu tightly, they both are emotional seeing each other after sometime many years.
Duo: Badi mumma aap hi humari Naira nani hai.
Naira: Ha beta lekin tum dono mujhe nani nahi badi mumma hi bulao.
The four then share a group hug.
