Chapter 11

Days passed and everyone knew about her being cheated on

"I mean Camila is a 10 and now she feels like a 5"

"Yh but Tatiana,is hot though"

The story about the three never ended and it was irritating for Camila

"Camie ..... let's go gather the firewood before it's too late"

"Oh yeah " she followed behind

"Don't pay attention to what they're saying " Ella hugged her

Tommy agreed "Ella is right "

"It's really hard"

A lot of students were collecting firewood, and the trending couple was having fun doing it

Jedi and Tatiana's laughter and playful banter grew louder, their hands touching as they worked together. Camila's eyes flicked towards them, her smile fixed on her face.

The other students watched the scene unfold, their eyes darting between Camila, Jedi, and Tatiana. They waited for Camila's reaction, expecting her to explode in anger or jealousy.

But Camila didn't give them the satisfaction. She just smiled and continued picking firewood, her movements efficient and detached.

However, when she bent down to pick up a particularly large log, her smile faltered. Tears dropped from her eyes, falling silently onto the forest floor.

No one noticed, except Adrien. He saw the tears and felt a pang of sympathy for Camila. He knew she was hurting, and he wanted to help.

As they finished collecting firewood and headed back to the campsite, Adrien fell back beside Camila. "Hey, you okay?" he asked quietly.

Camila wiped her tears away, her smile back in place. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just got something in my eye."

Adrien nodded, but he knew better. He knew Camila was struggling, and he was determined to be there for her.

It was a campfire night and everyone was present, telling each other funny stories

As the campfire crackled to life, Tatiana and Jedi snuggled up close, their hands entwined. Tatiana shivered, and Jedi immediately removed his coat, draping it over her shoulders.

"I'm so cold," Tatiana said, her voice sweet and helpless.

Jedi smiled, his eyes adoring. "You're not cold now, are you?"

Camila watched, her heart twisting with pain and anger. She couldn't bear to see them together, so loving and affectionate.

She stormed off towards the lake, her anger and hurt boiling over. "Screw Jedi and Tatiana!" she cursed, her voice carrying across the water. "They think they're so perfect, but they're not!"

Just as she reached the lake's edge, a voice behind her said, "Maddie, wait!" Before she could turn around, she felt a push and fell into the lake.

The icy water enveloped her, shocking her into silence. She surfaced, spluttering and angry. "What the...! Who did that?"

A guy with a sheepish expression peered down at her. "Oh no, I'm so sorry! I thought you were Maddie, my friend from the other campsite."

Camila's anger turned to incredulity. "You pushed me into the lake by mistake?"

Ryan nodded, looking embarrassed. "Yeah, I'm really sorry. Let me help you out."

Camila emerged from the lake, shivering and dripping wet. She stared at the guy who had pushed her, trying to make out his features in the darkness.
