Her Bad Alpha

Chapter 7: Living with Multiples

Life with the pups was not what Onyx and Amber anticipated. They knew that there would be a lot of dirty diapers and more than their share of dirty clothes, but they did not anticipate the shear load of what the triplets produced in a single day or in a single hour. They were doing more laundry for the triplets than they were doing for themselves. They were also not getting as much sleep as they thought they would, because when they would get two of the three down to sleep the other would wake up and start crying and wake the other two and start the process all over again.

     Clara and Archer had decided to move out into a place of their own before the pups came so that they would have room for the quads when they got older. Their house is not as big as the pack house. However, it is big enough for the six of them. They have a big bedroom dedicated just for the nursery for the quads, and it is decorated in pastel colors like Onyx and Amber's house. They also were not prepared for the sheer number of dirty diapers they went through or the sheer number of dirty clothes. They were not expecting the pups to have so many blowouts, where they exploded in their drawers and the poop goes halfway up their back and down their legs, requiring them to need a bath several times a day. The same situation was happening with Onyx and Amber's triplets.

    All the pups were being breastfed, which meant that Amber and Clara had to eat a lot of food to produce enough milk for the pups to consume. Sometimes they were fed with a bottle, but it was still breastmilk they were being fed in the bottle. Usually when they got a bottle, their father is feeding them. It has been two months since the pups came home, and they have doubled in size and weight. Aislin has actually tripled in her size and weight since she has been home with her family. She is growing so fast that you would not believe she had a such a rough start in life.

    Onyx and Archer are always trying to find ways to help their mates with the many feedings that the pups demanded every day. They ate more than normal. Instead of them eating every two to three hours, they were eating at least every hour. Onyx and Archer would help Amber and Clara by bottle feeding the pups while they were taking a nap, which was as often as they could, because they were up at odd hours of the night feeding the pups. The pups ate so much that Amber and Clara thought that they would run out of milk before the pups were six months old. The pups grew so fast, that by the time they were eight months old they were the size of a human, three to four-month-old.

As much as the pups are eating, you would think that they would be bigger than they are at this time. Aislin was growing much faster than her brothers and Clara's and Archer's pups. Onyx and Amber believe she will be the next alpha of the pack since she is bigger than her brothers. Also, she is a lot more dominating than her brothers when she is around Clara and Archers pups. Onyx told Amber that one of his great- grandmothers was the first female alpha of the Blue Twilight pack and he believes that Aislin will follow in her footsteps and be a great alpha so when she is old enough, he wants to start her alpha training. Amber agrees with him on her being the next alpha, also she made the agreement with him that when she is about fifteen to sixteen years of age to start her alpha training, so she has a few years to train with her father before the time she starts attempting to find her mate and take over at nineteen as alpha. They share their thoughts with Clara and Archer, they agree with them, but Archer thinks she should start her alpha training at fourteen not fifteen.

    This makes Amber start to think about it and agrees with Archer and therefore tells Onyx. To which he says, "I think you both have a point there seeing as that's when I started my training" Amber replies "there we go it is settled she will start her training at fourteen, so she has enough time to learn as much as possible before finding her mate. Also, she has enough time to understand the rules of the pack before taking over as alpha when she is nineteen." Onyx said, "That is a great idea, it works for me. I love the idea that Aislin will be the next alpha of the pack."
