Stay Awake [Jurassic World | Zach Mitchell ]

"Remember to call me everyday. And send me pictures so I won't forget what you look like" Courtney said wrapping her pale arms around Zach's neck. "I'm only gonna be gone a week" he replied making Gray snort a laugher while coming out of the house. She smiled and held on to him making him mentally groan. "Zach buddy. You're not going off to war. We gotta go" my dad exclaimed from the car.

The teen let go of Courtney and speed walked to the car. "Are you gonna be okay honey?" Mrs. and Mr. Mitchell say mockingly. Zach huffed rolling his eyes lifting his black beats headsets so that they were around his ears, blocking out the endless facts that Gray was blurting and going on about dinosaurs and the activities he planned to do when he arrived.

"I'm gonna miss you boys so much. You're gonna have so much fun" Mrs. Mitchell says pulling back from the 30 second hug shared with each of the boys. "Yeah. So much fun" Zach replies sarcastically clearly having no interest in the trip. "Don't be such a priss Zach" Gray comments making the older Mitchell brother thump his head with the palm his hand. "Zach. You're going to have to take care of your brother. Okay?" mom tells the oblivious boy as he takes the papers from her hand. "Yeah" he replies not fully paying attention of anything she was saying

"Zach, I'm serious" she says again. "Mom, I'll take care of him" he exclaims staring into her eyes showing full honesty. She gives him a wide grin, and the two brothers head off, side by side with Gray waving his proud parents a bye one last time.

"Zach! Wake up! We're here!"

Groaning, the teenage boy squints, his eyes adjusting to the bright light. He slowly get up still jet lagged making Gray groan. "Hurry up!" he shouts making Zach nudge his little brother in annoyance. "Chill" he replies placing his beats wrapped around his neck.

Walking slowly behind his little brother while he ran freely, Zach looked down at his phone.

5 missed calls from Courtney

Zach sighed. The truth was, he had no feelings for her. He thought he did at first but she just wasn't appealing to him. For one she was extremely clingy. Some guys might've liked that but not Zach. Forgetting about the depressing thoughts, Zach chased his little brother to the sign which had both of their names planted onto it. They both met Zara. What they didn't know was about the terrifying adventure waiting for them not too long away.
