Stay Awake [Jurassic World | Zach Mitchell ]

I let out an awkward cough after Justin left. Getting up from the bed, I glanced at Zach. He seemed just as shocked as I was.

"I'm gonna go meet up with Justin" I say quietly not looking at him.

"Ok" he replies, staring at me. Creep.

I walked to the door, getting out while still feeling his burning stare.

"Justin!" I shouted jogging up to him. He looked at me in surprise but smirked afterwards. "Stop that" I said while he kept smirking.

"Oh my god. It was just a kiss" I said trying to get him to stop being such a weird-ass.

"A kiss? You guys were going full at it" he says laughing at me when my face turned red from embarrassment.

"Ugh whatever" I reply before shoving him.

Gray, Zach, and I were going on the gyrosphere. Alexis and Justin stayed behind for the sake of Alexis wanting to ride the triceratops.

"It can only seat two people" I say when Zach and Gray went in. Before the entrance to it closed, Zach pulled me to his lap. "That works too" the worker said before shutting the sphere.

My head was pressed back into Zach's chest, and honestly, this was just plain uncomfortable. The seat belt was hard to put on but we managed to after a couple failed tries.

While I was watching Jimmy Fallon on the small screen above the joystick, an alert came up.

"All exhibits are now closed due to technical difficulties. Please report back" it said.

"I wanted to see more" Gray said his mood dropping. "Hey we can stay for a couple more minutes" Zach said feeling bad for his little brother.

"But they said go back" Gray replied. "We're VIP dude. I think we can stay" Zach says making my eyes go a little wide. "I don't know about this Zach. Maybe we should go back" I suggest but Zach presses his finger to my lips. "Just trust me" he whispers before pulling back. I sigh.

"Off road" Zach suddenly says making my eyes go wide. "No Zach" I say while Gray says, "Zach. No, bad idea"

"Good idea" Zach argues taking control of the joystick. "If I die today, I swear to god I will come back and haunt you" I warn him, frightened of the darkness we were arriving into.

"We're gonna get arrested. They'll shave our heads and we'll have to make root beer in the toilet" Gray blurts making me nod along.
"What are you talking about?" Zach says before arriving a couple of ankylosauruses.

"See. Four dinosauruses" Zach says making me chuckle lightly.

"Ankylosauruses" Gray corrects. "And there's actually five" he finishes.

"Aren't you supposed to be a genius. There's 4" Zach says.

"See. One, two, three, four" he says. "Five" I finish pointing to the reflection of the giant dinosaur.

We all look up and see a T-Rex size dinosaur, however oddly, it wasn't a T-Rex.

It let out a roar, and I could hear Gray say "Go go go."

The tail of the Dino hit the sphere, making us roll and turn over so that it was now upside down. Zach tried moving the joystick but we were stuck.

"I almost got it" Zach says reaching for his phone which was vibrating. "Zach" I whisper. He was too occupied in getting the phone. "Zach! Look!" I whisper yell so that he looked up.

He gasped and we all screamed when the Dino picked the sphere up and crushed it with its teeth. It picked us up and dropped us back down.

I felt Zach unhook our seat belts along with Gray's so we were now on the ground. "Run" he says making us all run. The stomps of the dinosaur were making the whole ground shake.

"We're gonna have to jump" Zach says. "I can't" Gray said in fear.

"Jump now!" Zach says holding my hand. However, instead of feeling myself fall, I felt myself being lifted up. The dinosaur caught a hold of my shirt.

I gasped and quickly pulled away with force so that it ripped but I was able to get away from its grip and splashed into the water. While swimming below but closer to the surface, I could see Zach and Gray look worried when they couldn't find me.

I appeared and swam to the surface making Gray cheer and give me a hug. Zach looked at me with a questionable face.

He looked down, and saw the rips on my shirt. Under the rips and shreds, there was blood. His eyes widened, running over and pulling me into an embrace. "It almost got you" he said in my ear. "But it didn't" I reply trying to change the depressing mood.

"We should get going" I say to the boys, trying to forget the fact that I almost got eaten by a dinosaur.

The three of us walked. "Hey guys! Come look at this" Gray said. He was holding a hat which had the old Jurassic Park logo.

There was some sort of shack type building. We slowly walked in.

"Do you still have those matches?" I ask Gray. "Yeah" Gray says pulling them out. I pick up a a fake dinosaur bone and use the matches to light it up so that we could see more clearly.

"Come look at this!" Gray yelled.

"1992 Jeep Wrangler" I read. It had the old Jurassic Park logo as well. "Remember when we fixed Grandpa's old Malibu?" Zach asked Gray.

"Yeah" Gray replied knowing where Zach was going with this.

"Sorry I'm not gonna be much of a help with this" I say. I had no knowledge of cars.

"Just stand there and look pretty. That'll help" Zach says winking. I scoff in annoyance. After getting chased by a freaking dinosaur, his douche factor is still in play. Cool.

"Gray, turn it on" Zach orders. The sound of an engine occurs, making me grin. "You did it!" I exclaim to them. I jump onto him in excitement, pulling him to a bear hug.

We jump into the jeep, and I sit in the back letting Gray sit in the passengers seat. "Didn't you fail your driving test?" Gray says.

"Just the driving part" Zach replies making me argue. "Let me drive" I say to him but he smirks, making me know that he's gonna drive no matter what I say. "Whatever" I say.

He drives through a gate which breaks making me let out a small scream. "We're not gonna die from a dinosaur. We're gonna die from your driving" I say. Gray laughed and agreed with me but than I corrected my words. "Actually lets just not die today" I said.

"I need to meet Dylan O'Brien before I do" I say making Zach scoff. "Whaaaat? He's perfect" I say. Gray joins in and says, "He's jealous."

"Am not" Zach tries to argue but I laugh, and he gave up knowing it was the truth.

We approached a gate, but there was a group of pterodactyls heading our way.

"Let us in!" the three of us yelled before the gate opened and we were let through.
