On the way to the new home, the little one couldn't leave the feeling of butterflies in his stomach. Is doubt the enemy? Maybe it's a friend? If I had acted differently, what would have happened? It would get better, or it would still get worse. Doubts interfere with making important decisions and can also depress you later. Controlling your consciousness and throwing out such parasites that prevent you from focusing on the present is like shooting at the enemy and believing that this will calm your anger and pain.
The only effective way doesn't even depend on you. All the time on the road, doubts did not leave Boyfriend's head, until the moment he arrived at Mike's house. His private house and plot were very beautiful, although they did not stand out as anything special compared to the neighbour's houses. Red brick, black roof and panoramic windows made the house strict and at the same time stylish. And stone walking paths and parking space complemented this style.
Behind the house there is a gazebo made of wood, on the left side there was a barbecue, and 5 meters to the right there was a swing-sofa. A couple of trees reinforced the feeling of cosiness on the site.
Seeing such beauty, Boyfriend finally got rid of that feeling and interest lit up in his eyes. He wanted to explore the entire territory and not miss a single detail, but Mike added interest, saying that there was also something to see inside.
The inside of the house looked even more like a modern style. All the walls were white, the window sill was made of dark porcelain stoneware, and the windows were painted black. The furniture in the rooms was either only in dark colors, or light, or, as in the case of the kitchen, in balance. There are 4 rooms in the house: a living room, a hall and two bedrooms.
The living room is dominated by dark furniture, a large sofa, a table, a TV with karaoke and an air conditioner, also made of black plastic.
The hall is distinguished by light furniture, a large white carpet, another TV, a wardrobe and several bedside tables in which all small things are stored.
The first bedroom is equipped with a bed for one person, a wardrobe, a large mirror opposite which there is an ottoman and a bedside table, as well as a desk. All the furniture here is also light in color, unlike the second bedroom. The only thing that differs from the first bedroom, besides the color, is the absence of a mirror and ottoman. However, instead of them there is a small, quite old TV, next to which there is a PlayStation.
Boyfriend really enjoyed looking at the house. At first, he didn't try to find something to do, but Mike stopped his walks around the house, calling him to have lunch.
At the table, Mike educates the little one on several issues. "Well, look, that bedroom with the TV will be yours. My son used to live there, so it seems to me that you will be comfortable there." Boyfriend knew that Mike had children, but had never heard of them, so he took advantage of the moment.
"Didn't I tell you? I have 2 children, a son and a daughter. One is 21, and the other is 19. They are currently studying at universities and working part-time."
The kid listened attentively, but there was a feeling that Mike was not saying something.
"Listen, I'll tell you how it is. I have a lot of trouble at work right now, but I'll soon sort it out and we'll go somewhere to relax. But before that, we need to solve all the important problems..." Mike went to the window, watching the leaves fly trees and continued.
"I would like to get this over with quickly, but no matter how hard I try, I end up getting more stress. I wish someone would help me, but apparently it's not fate."
Interest in the future trip made the little one say something that he would not have said under normal circumstances. It just so happens, that he feels empathy only for people who are truly close and interesting to him. On top of that, he hasn't travelled for a very long time. And when such an opportunity arose, the irreversible happened.
