Summary: Mk and Red son go on a date. Mei helps a little too. (She helps Mk look like a girl boss.)
Mei: HE WHAT!?
MK: A-Asked me on a date...?
Mei sat there in shock her jaw dropped to the floor
Mei: TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT! WHEN? HOW? WHY DID HE ASK !?
MK: Well...
Flashback
Mk was walking in the park by himself in the park when he saw Red son running towards him.
Red son: NEWDLE BOY!
MK: Oh! Hi Red-
Red son: GO ON A DATE WITH ME!
MK: W-W-Wait what-
Red son: YOU HEARD ME YOU PEASANT! MEET ME HERE TOMORROW AT 7:30 AND YOU BETTER BE ON TIME! GOT IT?
MK looked up at Red son with a bright blush on his face
Mk: I-I-I...o-okay.
Red son: G-GOOD.
Red son walks away and MK stands there in shock
Mk:...What the heck just happened...
End of flashback
Mei: We need to find you an outfit to wear!
Mk: Oh right!
Mei: TO THE MALL!!!
MK and Mei went to the Mall and picked out a few outfits.
Mk: Hmmm...this one's cute!
Mei: yeah! Go try it on! (Btw he's wearing a black long sleeved crop top with black jeans shorts with black boots because he's a fem queen. Also Mei won't let him wear anything else besides stuff like that.)
Mei: gasp YOU LOOK SO CUTE!
MK: hehe thanks!
Mei: Now come on! Time for make up!
Mei put some eyeliner and lip gloss on Mk
Mk: is all this really necessary?
Mei: Of course it is! You wanna look good for your date don't you?
Mk: I mean yeah...
Mei: So be quiet and let me do your makeup.
A few minutes later
Mk: Hey Mei, should I wear my bandanna?
Mei: Nah. You look good with your hair down!
Mk: ok. Oh! It's 7:25! I have to go! Bye Mei! Thanks for helping!
Mei: Bye bestie! Good luck ! Tell me all about it when you get back!
Mk: Ok! I will!
By the time he got to the park it was 7:28. He saw Red son standing there. Red son was wearing his usual outfit but he had a slightly different looking red jacket on.
Mk: Hi Red!
Red son: Ugh finally you're-
Red son felt his cheeks heat up as he stared down at Mk. He looked...beautiful.
Mk: Red son? You ok?
Red son: W-Wha-O-OF COURSE I'M OK YOU NEWDLE BRAIN! WHY WOULDN'T I B-BE?
MK: I was just asking. You look nice!
Red son: Whatever...you look fine I guess...
Mk: Thanks!
Mk and Red son start to around the park and then see an ice cream shop.
MK: Oooooh! Let's get some ice cream!
Red son: Fine, I suppose we could
Mk: Yay!
After they finished their ice cream, they started walking again. It was starting to get cold.
Mk: Gosh, I didn't know it would be this cold...
Red son started to feel kinda bad that Mk didn't have a jacket. So, he sighed and took off his jacket and draped around their shoulders.
Mk: Oh! Red you're very kind but what about-
Red son: Just take the goddamn jacket Newdle boy! Besides, I'm a fire demon. The cold doesn't bother me as much as you mortals.
Mk: oh...okay.
The two walked in comfortable silence for the rest of the date until Mk broke it.
Mk: Hey Red?
Red son: What Newdle boy?
Mk: Why...did you ask me on a date?
Red son: What kinda question is that?
Mk: Yeah I guess it is kinda stupid...but I really wanna know, out of all the people, why me?
Red son: *sigh* Well...I've been quite fond of you for a while and I know that I'm not the best at showing it but...I-I love you Mk. You're kind, sweet, funny, pretty, and so much more.
Mk: Y-You really think those things about me?
Red son: Yes. Yes I do.
Mk: I-I love you too Red son.
Red son feels his cheeks heat up and his hair set aflame.
Red son: G-Good to know.
Mk: Well, I should go now. Tonight was really great!
Red son: I had quite the time as well.
Mk: Ok! Bye!
Red son: Wait!
Mk: Yes?
Red son puts his hands on Mk's waist and leans down and gently kisses his forehead.
Red son: see you later Newdle brain.
Mk watches as Red son walks away. He squeals out of happiness.
Mk: H-He kissed me! Mei is gonna freak out when I tell her this!
