RENEÉS POV

as we get into the car that's taking us to the hotel, i see that something is off with evelyn. her leg is bouncing, and shes fiddling as she takes in the scenery. i place my hand on her thigh and she turns to look at me with a soft smile. "you okay, baby?" i ask as she brings her hand down to intertwine with mine. "yeah, im good." 

we arrive at the hotel and immediately plop down on the big king-size bed. the receptionist tried to upgrade us to two queen beds when she saw it was two girls but i shut that down quickly. i check the time and its already 4.30 and i have to be at the venue at 5 for soundchecks and general planning (renee's stuff at the venue is based off of billies yt video from the days leading up to the hte tour btw).  its only around the corner so i have some time before i have to leave. 

my stomach grumbles so i decide to search for the nearest source of food. after google finds me a sushi restaurant just down the road, i turn my curled-up girlfriend hiding beneath the sheets. "hey ev, ima head out to get some sushi, do you wanna come?"

EVELYNS POV

oh

"hmm im not really hungry, i think the flight messed with my appetite a bit, i'll come for a walk though." i sit up while saying this and move to fall down into reneé's lap. 

"i can get you some for later when you feel more up to it yeah?" she asks and i better say yes to not raise suspicion. all that's going through my head still is

i zone out, with these three words chanting in my head.

reneé starts running her fingers through my hair and i realize that i havent answered her yet so i nod my head, still unable to shut off the negative thoughts.

time skip =)

nae left to go to the venue where she will be performing tomorrow night, so after an hour of scrolling mindlessly on my phone, i decide to call my mom. i dial and wait anxiously, trying to invasion how this conversation will go. probably in an argument. 

she picks up pretty quickly.

"evelyn"

"hi, uhm i just wanted to make sure that the plan for tomorrow is still going ahead."

"oh uhm remind me again" of course she forgot. not surprised.

"ill come over 9ish to surprise indy and i can bring breakfast with me if you want. then we'll do presents and we'll decide what to do next from there. does that sound alright?"

"yeah yeah sure, just be out of the house by noon because my friends are coming over." once again not surprised. she's ignoring her own daughter on her 18th birthday. maybe she will regret this when indy comes along with us for the tour, and ultimately moves to LA. 

"yup, okay i'll see you tomorrow then."

she's silent.

"bye mom" 

i hang up and let out a sigh. tomorrow will be something.

i pack a small tote bag for the morning and another bag for the multiple presents i got to spoil indy. i get into the big comfy bed and turn on the tv, landing on brooklyn 99 to watch before i sleep. renee's only going to get back at like 11 and i have to get up early in the morning to find my way across london to the old house i grew up in, therefore i figured getting some sleep would be a good idea. especially knowing that i'll need some brain power to survive my mother. after two episodes i turn the tv off and roll over to get comfortable. 

RENEÉS POV

after hours of discussion on the next few weeks of shows, adam finally tells me it's time to go. i zoned out 20 minutes ago anyway. i gather all my stuff and we head back to the hotel. 

when i enter the room, i am met with a sleeping evelyn and she looks so beautiful. i quickly get ready for bed before joining her, kissing her cheek and falling asleep myself.

EVELYNS POV (sorry for all the pov switches)

when i wake up reneé is already upright on her laptop, probably replying to emails or something boring like that. i move myself up so my head rests on her chest and she turns her attention from the screen to me. she kisses my head, "good morning my love." 

i reply by humming and leaning further into her. "when are you going to your see your mom and sister?" she asks. i sit up groaning slightly. 

"im going to try get there for 9 'o' clock give or take."

"okay, and text me your plans just incase i can leave for an hour or two... or you could always come see me at the venue,"

"ooo, actually i might take you up on that offer, indy would love that." i say smiling widely, dragging out the o in love.

"here let me get you a pass cause security hasn't met you yet." she gets up and grabs something out of her bag. she hands me a lanyard decorated with the words 'snow hard feelings tour' and an entry pass attached. "just call me or adam if they put up a fight, but if i can i'll mention that you're coming." 

i get up, nodding, and grab an outfit from my bag, and getting changed. after i finish getting ready i look up to see reneé still indulged in her computer, the screen illuminating her face in the dimly lit room. "nae where are the keys for the rental?" we've got a black audi rented for our time in london. just for me , as i cant really drive the tour bus to my moms house. i vouched for a cheap and cheerful car but the blonde insisted on something nicer. "beside the tissues on the bench." 

i grab the keys along with the two packed bags and go over to renee still sitting on the bed. "bye love, i'll see you when i see you," i mumble before i kiss her.

"yup, text me if you're coming, i love you." she says between the kisses she places all over my smiling face.

"i love you too" at the door i pause "see you soon"

"bye baby"

to my moms i go.

A/N sorry this is short and shit.

its kind of a filler for all the big stuff to come.

its also short because i have so much schoolwork and it's only the first day back this term like im about to screammmmmmmmmmmm

ill try get the next part out in the next few days but no promises
