Percy's Sister [ON HOLD]

I'm ecstatic. I have a sister. A sister! I still can't believe it. We sit on our beds and talk. For hours. We have so much in common. The whole time she is clutching her necklace.
"Why do you keep holding your necklace?" I ask idiotically
"I got it as a present from Dad when I was a baby. I asked Chiron about it and he said that Poseidon told him it was magic. Once I had got claimed, I would be able to open it. When I open it... I don't know. Something will happen that is supposed to help me." She says
"Well... What are you waiting for? Open it." I say grinning
"Okay" she says
She slips her thumb in the crack and pulls it open. Immediately, a shimmering figure appears right in front of us.
"Dad?" I ask
Poseidon stands there smiling at us.
"Hello children. Kendall, I see that you have settled in nicely. I'm glad that you two get along." He says in his deep, smooth voice.
Kendall looks startled.
He pulls out a seashell box and hands it to Kendall.
"What's this?" She asks
"Your birthday present. Happy birthday Kendall." He says
"How did you know..." She starts
"Because I'm your father." He says and just like that, he vanishes into thin air.
"It's your birthday?" I ask
"Tomorrow." She says in a small voice
I check my watch. 12:04 am.
"Actually, he was right. It's today." I say showing her my watch. "Happy birthday, how old are you turning?" I ask
"15" she replies, still staring at the box.
Slowly, she lifts the lid off the box. Inside is a belt with an attached sheath holding a dagger. She pulls it out and examines it. It's stunning. A celestial bronze blade with a fine, sharp edge. A leather handle. Her name is engraved up the blade. She grips it and smiles.
"Perfect fit." She says while swinging it around.
"That's custom made, for you. That's a really good dagger, maybe made by the cyclops. Your pretty lucky." I say, trying to hide my envy.
"It's a great blade. But it's not like you don't have an awesome weapon. I mean, a pen that turns into a sword, that's lucky." She says, still playing around with the dagger.
Yea I have a cool sword, but Poseidon didn't have it custom made for me, or hand deliver it to me. There was something special about Kendall, otherwise Poseidon wouldn't be going through all this trouble.
