                                                       That same night, Lightning's room

Lightning lay in her bed, one hand on her stomach. With only three punches Fang had reduced her onto her knees, nearly in tears from pain. Either Fang was unbelievably strong...or...

Have I...gotten soft? Lightning thought. No...no that's not possible...I still work out...I still train...She's just gotten stronger. That's it.

The door creaked open slowly, Serah peeking her head in. "You okay sis?"

"Yeah." Lightning said, sitting up, letting out a small grunt as she rested on the wall behind her bed. "Heh...she got me pretty good..."

"I'm sure she didn't mean to hurt you that bad..." Serah tried to reason.

"No, no." Lightning said, waving it off. "I had it coming...I shouldn't have called her a whore. That was my fault..." She sighed. I owe her an apology...I took it a bit to far...it was only a video game.

"Woah." A voice said behind Serah. "You actually admitted you're wrong."

Snow stepped into view, his hands on Serah's shoulders. Lightning smiled. They were actually kind of cute together. The wedding was to take place in two weeks.

"Snow, can I talk to my sister alone...?" She said.

"Of course. 'Claire'." Snow said mockingly, leaving the room, shutting the door behind him.

"What's up, sis?" Serah asked.

"I think..." Lightning let out a defeated sigh. "I'm gonna go find Fang and apologize."

"Woah, what?" Serah sarcastically said. "You're giving in to guilt an apologizing?! The great Lightning Farron herself giving an apology to one of us lesser beings?!"

"Oh ha ha..." Lightning rolled her eyes. "I'm gonna go find her."

"Maybe someone has a crush!" Serah said. "A little thingy for Fang, perhaps?"

Lightning rolled her eyes. "As cute as some may think that'd be, I'm not a lesbian."

"You never know~." Serah said sing-songily. "You never experimented. You were too busy 'taking care' of me. You haven't even had your first kiss, Light!"

"Whatever." Lightning said, moving to her feet. "I'm out. Later."

Fang continued the long, boring walk home. Her hands rested on her hips, she sighed a bit. Maybe...No it can't be. She thought. I can't have feelings for her...can I? Lightning's a close friend. That's why I feel bad. It makes sense. I mean sure, she's cute, with that pink asymmetrical hair, pale aqua eyes, her slim form topped by her sizable brea-..."Woah there, Fang." She said to herself. "Getting a bit weird there...but still...maybe...maybe I do...have feelings for her?"

"Aye there, sexy!" A drunken voice called to her.

Fang looked to see a group of four males, each cheering obscenities at her. She simply ignored them, continuing to trek home.

Suddenly, two men stepped in front of her, one behind her and one to her left.

"Just where do ya think yer goin'?" The biggest male of the group asked.

"Home, now move along."

"Not without a little fun." They group chuckled.

On her right, the only open area, was an alley leading to who knows where. But she didn't have her spear, so it was her best bet. She burst into a run, and the men didn't seem to give much of chase. She soon learned why.

"Damnit!" She yelled. "A bloody dead end!"

A shiver shot down her spine as she heard he sounds of guns cocking.

"Well, looks like we win." The head of the group said. "Now be a good girl and strip down for us."

Fang turned, her eyes shooting around, looking for any way of escape. There was a wall. She could jump off the wall and-

"Strip. Now." He said. "And if you try to run, and me boys here'll unload."

In defeat, Fang looked to the ground. This was a battle she couldn't win. If she tried to use magic, they'd tear her apart. But she wasn't going to strip willingly for them.

"Not gonna, eh? I'll do it me self." He pulled out a knife as he walked to her. He dragged the blade along her shirt, tearing it and her bra in half,  both falling off of her and onto the ground. She tried to cross her arms over her chest, but the sound of the guns moving to aim at her stopped her.

The man continued, cutting her pants a bit, pulling them off with her panties, leaving her fully exposed.

"Now...I'll go first." He said.

"Fang!" a voice called, from behind the men.

"Lightning!?" Fang exclaimed.

Before the men could react, Lightning had jumped in the air, kicking two dead on in the face, knocking them out cold. The other two turned, opening fire. Lightning ducked through the bullets, kicking one gun into the air, slamming her fist into it's user's throat, sending him into a wall hard enough to put Snow into a coma, causing him to fall unconscious as well.

The leader reamained, shaking as he aimed at the young girl infront of him. "B-back off!"

Lightning chuckled, causing fang to smirk. Lightning knows she could die right now, and yet she's laughing in death's face. This courage was admirable.

Not to mention sexy...Fang thought to herself Okay. There's definately something about her that's...appealing...It's hopeless...I've fallen for her.

While she was thinking, Lightning had pinned the male against the wall, her gunblade to his neck.

"Don't EVER mess with my friends again...got it?!" She yelled at the male.

The man nodded his head quickly. Lightning dropped him, and he scattered off, his friends waking up slowly, doing the same as soon as they saw the two young women.

Lightning rushed to Fang. "Fang! Are you okay?"

Fang covered herself with her arms and hands as best she could. "Yeah...thanks to you."

Lightning took off her long jacket, putting it on her friend quickly. It was long enough to cover down to her thighs.

"Thanks, Light..." she said. "I owe you...I'm sorry about earlier...I didn't me-"

"No." Lightning cut her off. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said what I did. It was stupid." She sighed a bit. "Let's get you home."

"...It's still a ways...You go home, I can go by myself." Fang said.

"Not like this!" She said. "Come one, you can stay the night at my place."

"Are you sure?" Fang said. "I mean, I don't want to be a bother."

"You won't." She said. "Let's go." She put her arm around her friend, walking with her.

Hmm... Fang thought. Maybe, I have a chance...
