And he's there. Alone.
His blue eyes. The bags underneath.
That smile. His sharp teeth.
The white streak on his hair.
An impressing facade, one could note. But he has had his fair share of experiments to understand that Cellbit is nothing other than a sad little man, pretending that he understands what he's doing. He's lost. That's pitiful.
Cellbit turns to him.
Roier smiles. That's him. That's what he can call himself now, is it not? What he was always meant to do. Who he was always meant to be. What he was always meant to receive.
He has always been objectively better. But this - Roier, has always got the better ends of everything. He always did so little to receive so much.
It doesn't matter. The mind before his can rot in hell for all he cares. He is him now. As it always should have been.
He can finally enjoy what he was always meant to have.
D- Roier approaches his husband. Cellbit smiles seeing him, although he seems to hesitate before actually taking a step closer to Roier.
Doied- Roier is taken aback when Cellbit grabs him by the hand and pulls him close, using his free hand to grab him by the waist. He was not used to this type of physical contact.
He will get used to it though. It's what he'll have to endure for the rest of his new life.
— Buenos dias, Guapito. — Cellbit greeted. Roier smiled. Guapito. Such a beautiful way to refer to someone. Even though he had to get used to it, it was undeniable how much he adores hearing that, how it feeds into his ego.
— Bom dia, Gatinho. — Roier said that name with such an interesting tone. To Cellbit, it sounded normal. But to himself? He could hear how his tongue dripped with something that seemed to be a toxic mix of pride and envy. After living months filled with this dreadful feeling of envy, he could finally say that, without the “past mind” being on the way. And it filled his heart with pride.
He was more proud that he took it away rather than being able to say it. He can say what his brother would never be able to again.
— Where's Pepito? — Cellbit still maintained Roier close to him, not seeming to let go anytime soon.
— He stayed playing with that plushie of his until late and couldn't wake up early. — Roier explained with the caring, silly tone he was supposed to keep up. He really didn't care, but acting as he did was the way to get what he wanted, wasn't it?
— Again? Isn't Pepito sleeping a whole lot more than usual? — Cellbit asks, clearly worried and a bit confused. — Is he okay?
— He's sleeping, gatinho. You worry too much about unimportant stuff. — Cellbit seems a bit… weird as Roier said it. He assumes it's due to worry, after all, Cellbit was getting more attached to Pepito than expected.
— I see… — Cellbit tilts his head to the side, loosening his grip on Roier, who wonders what’s up with him.
— In any case, ‘you free for a dungeon later? — Roier asks, leaning in. Cellbit hesitates before responding.
— Maybe at night. — Cellbit didn't seem to like the answer himself. Roier would understand why. Why can't he? Why is this man so difficult to decipher? — I have to keep building the castle with Richas.
— Oh. Sure. Just tell me when you're free. — Roier smiled gently. Cellbit tried to return a smile just as gentle, but failed. The smile on his face looked so… miserable. ‘Roier’ wondered how far he could go with Cellbit's self-esteem without blowing his cover. — What's up?
— What? — Cellbit asked, seeming scattered in thought.
— You're quiet. — ‘Roier’ said, using one of the most basic methods of conversation to try and understand.
— It's nothing, it's just- stuff feels different recently. I- It's been a while since I…. — Cellbit tried to explain, but sighed and gave up. — … you know.
— Maybe you spent too much time away. — Cellbit's face contorted into an expression that was impossible to read, a feeling that 'Roier' wasn't able to understand.
— Yeah, maybe- maybe I did. — He chuckles sadly and looks at Roier. — I'm sorry.
— What are you sorry for? — He asked, and Cellbit's expression seemed even more mysterious and confusing with this answer. — I was doing fine. At least you're back.
— Yeah. I'm glad you're happy.
Cellbit smiled.
Roier did, too.— I'll be going, then, need to wake up Pepito before he chokes on his drool or something. — Pepito had some confusing health issues, such as myopia, astigmatism, asthma, dissociation issues and some more he still doesn't know for sure what is. He wouldn't be surprised if he had some problems while sleeping. It'd be a shame to let him die in his sleep by something silly.
He let go of Cellbit's hand, yet Cellbit still held him by the hips, even if slightly.
— Mhm. — Cellbit muttered, but still didn't let go of him.
There was a confusing silence for a moment, Cellbit just looking deep into Roier's eyes, who was starting to panic, even if not visibly.
His face began heating up. Why was Cellbit not letting go? What did he want? Did he do something? Did he blow his cover?
His face, to Cellbit, looked strange. ‘Roier’, although going red, seemed hesitating and distant.
— G-Gatinho? — He stuttered out what should be a question, raising his voice higher than he wanted, and Cellbit sighed, letting go. He seemed disappointed, upset even.
— I'm sorry, just- I just got lost in thought. You make me do that sometimes. — He answered with a sad little chuckle, caressing Roier's cheek for two seconds before letting go. — I'll get going, okay? If you need anything, just message me, or just teleport to my castle. I'll be there.
— Oh, okay.. see ya’ at night, maybe. — Roier took a step back. — Adios, Gatinho.
— Adios, Guapito.
Cellbit smiled softly as they parted ways, feeling like this was a sadder goodbye than intended.
Roier- Doied, now that he was alone, was left confused. What the hell was that? What did Cellbit want?
Why does he get these weird feelings when Cellbit is around?
Why does it feel like more than just the envy of his brother's life?
He doesn't understand. He will, though. He will decipher what Cellbit is.Beginning to walk back to ‘his’ house, he abruptly stops, realizing something.
“Puta madre. Él quería besarme.”

Author's note:
Heyyy, this chapter was very brief, that is because all chapters will be short when unimportant. That is because, when a chapter is meant to be long, it won't have less than 6k words, and I don't want this to be tiring. It is also good for me, because I can update constantly. If you liked it, please gimme that lil star and come back to the next one:)
