~{Chapter 5}~*This chapter is about when Emma🐱and Louis🐞pay their grandfather "Gabriel Agreste" a visit at the prison today to get answers about who this new holder of the butterfly miraculous is since he knows more about it than their mother, the guardian does😅. Also, to ask about why he did what he'd done as Hawkmoth back in the day... unfortunately, this "family reunion" becomes very *awkward* since he never met them and didn't even know that he had grandchildren in the place! *At the Paris, France🇫🇷, Prison*
*3:00 p.m.*
"Mr. Agreste, you have visitors..." Female guard 1 said greeting Gabriel in his high-tech glass cell chamber letting him know that 2 visitors are here now. "Visitors? That's surprising... Why anyone want to see me?" Gabriel questioned softly finding it hard to believe that someone would want to visit him. Considering all of the awful things that he done when Hawkmoth🦋/Shadowmoth🦚🦋/Monarch back in the day and ever since then he regretted it... The guard sighed. "I think you'll make an exception for these two," she said thinking that he'll be glad to have someone especially two to visit him for once. Cause It's been "years" of no one visiting him in prison since his arrest. Then, she gave them the signal to come in as the "Agreste Siblings🐱🐞" walked into the room slowly for dramatic effect as the sliding steel doors closed shut behind Emma and Louis to give them some privacy with their grandfather for the information that they both seek from him. Gabriel was in shock that his two visitors were teenagers... "Hello, Mr. Agreste or should I say grandfather." Emma and Louis said softly in unison for dramatic effect. "Grandfather? Who are you two? You're names now..." he demanded immediately after they could him that title of being related. This meant that Adrien, his son had kids and married💍Miss "Dupain Cheng" but he wanted some proof first just to be sure by knowing their names. They looked at each other and she stood forward in front of Gabriel on the other side of his side. "I'm Emma Agreste and this is my brother, Louis. We're your grandkids." She said as an introduction to their grandfather of who they are. He sighed. "I see, well, I must say that I'm not surprised..." he said. "I'm guessing there's a reason why you're both here... you must have questions for me. So, go ahead and ask them and I will answer them honestly." Gabriel added assuming that they were here for answers as he sat down on his bed dramatically prepared to answer all his grandchildren's questions that they both have for him. Because he had nothing better to do than rot in his cell like he had been doing for the past few years... and nothing to hide. Emma cleared her throat and asked the obvious question that she and Louis both wanted to hear and know about their grandfather's side of the story. "Alright, well, for starters... My question for you is Why did you do it? Why cause all of that pain as Monarch to get the Miraculous🐞🐱in granting you a wish that would create a new Reality?! And in doing so, you nearly destroyed Paris back in the day." Emma asked the question loud and proud wanting answers. "That's a fair question. Emma, but Didn't your parents already tell you all that?" Gabriel said thinking that Emma's question for him was very reasonable and asked about the obvious cause assuming that Adrien told them about what he did as Hawkmoth🦋and why.

"Yeah, but we wanted to hear your side of the story. Our parents might be basing it on their opinion." Emma explained wisely wanting to hear Gabriel's side of the story before judging him without any real evidence to believe that he's a good or bad guy. He nodded in that making sense and said. "I see, well, what exactly did my son say about me, and what happened when they defeated me? Then I'll tell you my story..." Gabriel said. Emma nodded and said. "Okay, well, they mentioned that you only become Hawkmoth for being selfish and only thinking about yourself to make the wish💫to bring back "Grandma Emile" alive but you "never" thought about what our father wanted and you couldn't move on until you had her back in creating a new reality where she's alive," she said. "That's true, but your parents left out one important detail... I only become Hawkmoth🦋, Shadow moth🦚🦋, and Monarch for "love" and terrorizing the city🏙by using people's emotions🖤against them. At the time, I didn't care who got in the way or who I had to hurt in the process. As long as I've got what I wanted. And that was bringing my wife back to wake her up from her coma to be with my "Emile" again. Because when you love someone with all of your heart❤️... you would do anything for them. Even if it meant losing yourself in the flames🔥going on a dark👁‍🗨path to get them back.
And that's exactly what I did or almost did if your mother hadn't stopped me." Gabriel said softly speaking the "truth" about his reasons on the side of the story. Louis gasped in shock and then felt anger coursing through his veins and spoke out loud to express that feeling/emotion. "You're telling me that you did all of that because you wanted Emile! Don't you realize that your actions have consequences? Changing Reality itself isn't worth it! Someone else would lose their mother... how can you be so careless to nearly trigger the end of the world?!!" Louis yelled out angrily😡💢trying to knock some sense into Gabriel for the awful terrible things he'd done as Monarch to everyone.
