~{Chapter 4}~*This chapter is about when Emma just found out that she's a "Senti-monster" and her parents tell her the story of how it happened... but sometimes knowing the truth can hurt and she cries her heart out in tears as her father comforts his daughter in these troubled times because he knows exactly how it feels. So, Adrien helps Emma come to terms with accepting herself as she is and not as a monster cause she is still human. Just like he is and that helped her a lot! I hope you like it, Enjoy!*

"Why didn't you tell me that I'm a Sentimonster?!" Emma shouted out upset that her parents kept a big secret from her about her greatest existence. Mari sighed looking at Adrien and they both knew that this time would come. "Look, Emma, the reason why we didn't tell you is because... We were afraid of how you would react or how you think of yourself. We were only trying to protect you, Emma, Because we're your parents and we love you!" Marinette said loudly in tears. "Your mother speaks the truth. And it's the same reason why we didn't want you and your brother to visit your grandfather yesterday." Adrien added upset knowing that his father would expose the truth to their daughter. "Well, at least he was honest and didn't lie straight to my face about my being, and existence and keep the truth from me... for my entire life! What else did you lie to me about?!..." Emma asked suspiciously in an upset voice thinking that everything she knows or believes in her life is all a lie. "Emma, please, relax calm down... we were only trying to protect you. That's all we've ever done for you." Adrien said worriedly with a sad look as a concerned father for his daughter's temper. "So, what? You afraid that I might get akumitized?!" She added loudly sarcastically. Then, Emma scoffed upset as she stormed out of the living room and went up stairs into her bedroom and slammed her door in frustration. Adrien suggested to Mari that he should be the "one" to talk to Emma about this since he knows what she's feeling... but when he did opening her bedroom door to see the she transformed into "LadyNoir" and jumped out the window🪟leaping in the air with her stick from rooftop to rooftop to clear her head about the *truth* about herself of what she is. "Emma! Wait, come back!" Adrien cried out to her wanting to explain. But it was too late! So, he decided to wait for her until she returned... "Hopefully, Plagg will get through to her just like he did for me," He said to himself trying to think positively about this stressful situation that his daughter is in.

She immediately stopped on top of a rooftop trying to catch her breath and said to herself. "My whole life is a lie... does that mean I'm not real? Then, why? WHY?!!" Emma shouted out in tears in an emotional state questioning her very existence if she was real or not. Because of her emotions... they triggered an Akuma to come her way. Emma gasped at the sight of it and had a moment of weakness not moving and wanting to be akumitized🦋as it got closer to her... til the realization hit her that becoming a Supervillain would not solve her problems. Also, talking is stronger than actions! So, she did the right thing. "Cataclysm!" Ladynoir🐈‍⬛said out loud summoning her Power of destruction in one hand and cataclysmed the Akuma🦋into ashes of dust to prevent "Sphinx Moth" from turning her into a supervillain.
"Claws in..." Emma said sadly as she leaned on her knees in depression at the fact she almost allowed herself to get akumitized🦋based on her negative emotions and quickly stopped herself from giving in to the temptation. Plagg🐾saw his holder hurting inside and decided to give Emma some advice after he finished his cheese🧀. "I know you're hurting right now... Emma, but running away isn't the answer. I've known your father for a long time since he was around your age. And he knows what you're going through more than you think," he said softly with wisdom. "What do you mean? Plagg, I don't understand." Emma asked her kwami confused. "Oh, but he does... trust me, kid. He's just like you." Plagg said stating the obvious that she already knew what he'd meant by that. "Yeah, you're right. Plagg, my dad is like me. He's a Senti-monster too! So, I could talk to him about this..." Emma said ecstatically. "Told ya!" Plagg replied softly being right while munching on his last piece of cheese🧀that he'd grabbed last minute before they left the house. "Alright, that settles it! I'll go talk to my dad right. Let's head back! Claws out!" Emma said quickly decided to head back home and activate her transformation. "Wait, I haven't finished my Cheese..." Plagg yelled out upset as he got sucked into the ring. Then, Ladynoir headed home jumping from building and rooftop gracefully!

*An hour later, back at the Agreste Mansion inside Emma's bedroom*
*7:00 p.m.*
Adrien was sitting on his daughter's bed waiting for her to come back home... and hoping that she did. Then, Emma🐈‍⬛came back climbing back into her room as "Ladynoir" and De-transformed once inside and noticed that her dad was there and she was so glad that he was! "Hey, Dad. I-I... I'm sorry if I'd ran away without telling you. I just needed some time to think..." she explained herself and why she left. He smiled and walked up to her to say. "It's okay, Emma. I'm not mad at you for leaving. Believe Me, I know the feeling... And please, don't be angry with your mother she's been through a lot lately. When we were first trying to have a "baby" she was devastated that she'd had a miscarriage... and in her time of need, I was by her side until your Uncle Felix didn't want us to suffer or feel that pain. So, he let your mom borrow the peacock🦚miraculous temporarily to create a senti-being of our child. Our daughter that we lost. And that was you, Emma, my little fur ball." Adrien explained to her about the real story of her birth. Emma smiled in understanding and said. "I'm not mad at her. Dad, I never was... I just didn't know how to process the fact that I'm a Senti-Monster." she said softly admitting her feelings. Adrien immediately hugged her as she hugged her father back. "It's okay, Emma. I'm here for you. Always, and I won't tell you that it'll be easy cause it won't. You may be a monster but that doesn't have to define... because you're also human too. Always "true" to that side of yourself and never forget that part of you." Adrien said wisely in tears to his daughter. Then, Emma broke the hug in tears of joy/happiness and said. "Thank you, Dad. That's exactly what I needed to hear. Your words of comfort mean a lot to me!" she replied whimpering her words of gratitude toward her father. "But Wait if I'm a senti-monster then where's my amok?" Emma asked out of curiosity. Adrien didn't respond and just simply pointed at Emma's "blue" turquoise, crystal-shaped necklace📿. She gasped looking at it from her point of view and look back at her dad dramatically to say. "My necklace? So, I had it on me along..." Emma questioned softly not realizing that her amok was on her this whole time. "You mean that you and Mom never took away my freedom or decided what was best for me?" She added by asking the obvious question if her parents ever tried to control her life or choices because she had all of that free will all along.

Adrien smiled brightly. "Of course not, Emma! Me and your mother never wanted to control you or decide what your life you be... because that is something for you to figure out on your own. And you already did that! You want to be an "Artist" someday and I couldn't be prouder of you. You truly are an extraordinary, beautiful, free spirit, girl, and you are destined for greatness. And remember only you can decide what you want that... because this is your life. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise," Adrien said wisely in letting his daughter know to follow her "dreams" to what her heart💚truly desires deep down inside and that she'll do great things in the near future✨. "Besides, when I was around your age at the time I never knew that I was a senti-monster at the time. My father controlled my whole life and had everything planned for me. He took away my freedom and decided what I should do with my life, who I should date, and what my future was. But as Cat Noir... I finally felt truly free. So, I guess that I didn't want you to go through the same pain as I did. I wanted you to be the one in control of your life and not let someone else control it. And at that moment, first held you I knew that you would make a great "Cat Noir" well, Lady Noir after me." he added explained his life to her and that she was lucky to have full control of her life. Emma gasped. "I understand that. Dad, Is that why you didn't want me and Louis to visit him today?" she asked. "Yes," he said.
