'Dammit! Why do I have to take things too far? Why do I let my anger get the better of me?'
I lay there for some time, just staring at the ceiling and trying to think of some way to fix things.
I sit up, hearing the doorknob turn. I swing my legs off the sider of the couch and go over to greet Deidara.
"Hey Sasuke," she smiles, not fazed in the slightest that i was there.
"Deidara! You have to help me!" I suddenly burst out.
She just stare's at me, shocked at how quickly I had asked for her help. Then, her eyes softened and her lip's turned up into a smile.
"Come on. We'll make some tea and then you can tell me what's bothering you."
I smile as I follow the older woman into the kitchen. I couldn't help but think of her as the mother I always wanted.
"Naruto!" Deidara calls as she place's the kettle on the stovetop. "Would you like some tea?"
"Is Sasuke still there?" he calls back angrily.
"Yes!"
"Then I don't want any!" he yells down the stairs before slamming his door nce again.
Deidara smiles' sadly at me and I feel my face flush red in anger at myself. I look down not wanting to see the sympathy in his eyes.
I jum slightly alarmed by the music coming from my pocket. I quicky grab my phone and flip it open.
"Hello?"
"Sasuke! Where the hell have you been?! I have been running all aroud town trying to find you!"
"Itachi? Quiet down. You're hurting my ears." I wait a moment for him to stop yelling before continuing. " You don'thave to keep looking for me. I'm at Naruto's and I'm not going to kill myself."
"Well then I'll come pick you up and we can go home."
"I can't do that Itachi."
"Com on, Sasuke! Living here isn't that bad!" Itachi says, almost yelling again. "Just ignore Kakashi! Even if you hate him you ahve to come home!"
"What home? That place is not my home. My home burned to the ground ten years ago!"
