Inside Trevor's cluttered workspace, the walls adorned with posters and photographs, he sat hunched over his desk, his gaze fixed on the computer screen. The soft glow of the monitor illuminated his features, casting shadows across his face as he scrolled through his social media feed, each photo and status update - a painful reminder of Dawson.

With a heavy sigh, Trevor leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his tousled hair as he closed his eyes, trying to shake off the thoughts that consumed him. But no matter how hard he tried, Dawson lingered in his mind like a stubborn ghost, refusing to be ignored.

Suddenly, the sound of footsteps approached, and Trevor's eyes snapped open as his heart leaped in anticipation. He turned towards the doorway, his pulse quickening as he caught sight of Dawson entering the room.

"Hey, Trevor, you busy?" Dawson asked, flashing Trevor a warm smile as he approached.

Trevor's heart skipped a beat at the sight of Dawson's smile, his stomach fluttering with nerves. "Uh, no, not really," he replied, trying to sound casual despite the turmoil of emotions swirling inside him.

Dawson took a seat opposite Trevor, leaning forward with interest. "Cool, I was just wondering if you wanted to grab lunch together?" he said, his voice filled with genuine warmth.

Trevor's heart soared at the invitation, his cheeks flushing with excitement. "Yeah, sure, I'd love to," he replied, unable to suppress the grin that spread across his face.

As they made their way out of the office together, Trevor couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope stirring within him, a sense that maybe, just maybe, Dawson felt the same way too.
