Chapter 1- something to tell you

Right now I was sitting in my best friend Lukes' room talking about random things like we always do after school

"So you're telling me that if you were a bird you would just go around and shit on random people's head?" I asked Luke

"Not random people, what did they ever do to me? I would shit on the people I hate" he laughed

"Well Hemmy I think you should know that I would follow you around shitting on your head every time you walk outside" I laugh using the nickname I gave him in 3rd grade

We sat talking for hours then Luke suddenly became really serious

"Liza I really need to talk to you" he says quietly

"Sure you know you can't tell me anything" I sit up and face him

"You know how I am in a band?" I nod
"And you know how we have been posting covers on youtube?" I nod again
"Well we actually got discovered by Louis Tomlinson from One Direction"

"OMG LUKE THAT IS SO GREAT YOU'RE GOING TO BE FAMOUS" I hug him but he doesn't hug back

"Luke what's wrong?" He looks down

"We have been asked to go on tour with them" I look at him confused

"What do you mean that's good"

"Yeah but it's for a yeah, then we will probably live in London for a while to write and record" I look down

"When do you leave?" I asked

"We leave tomorrow morning at 4am" I looks away from me as I start to get angry

"Why didn't you tell me earlier?" I raise my voice

"I-I didn't know how to tell you" he claims

"You didn't know how? So you tell me the night before you leave. Do you think that's going to make it any better?" I yell but he doesn't say anything he just shakes his head

"Well you just made it worse" I say softly as I turn and grab my stuff and walk out of his room and down the stairs

"Leaving so soon Liza?" His mum Liz asks as I walk past the living room

"Uh yeah I don't feel too well so I'm just gonna go home" she gives me a hug and walks me to the door

"Are you sure you don't want me to drive you home?" She asks at the door

"I'm fine Liz. I think the fresh air might do me good" I hug her and start to walk down their driveway and to my house which was in the street next to Luke.

When I get home I look at my phone and see that I have heaps of texts from Luke

Hammy I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner. Please forgive me

Please Hammy I didn't mean to wait this long I just didn't want to leave you

Ok I guess you aren't answering. Please just come say goodbye tomorrow. I will be at the airport at 4:30 please be there

If you don't come just know that I won't forget about you and you will always be my best friend

I turn my phone off and go straight to bed.
