It was only a couple more days until the auction took place and everything was set up. I was still very stressed about me fucking it up. I couldn't figure out why, I tried telling myself it would be just like an assassin's job but that didn't help. How the hell could one of the top assassins be scared for a normal mission? I think to myself, all of this was pissing me off and I needed to clear my mind. I got out of bed and went to leave, feitan was sitting on his rock in the main room reading. I felt his eyes on me as I left.
"Where are you going", he asked me.
I turned around to face him.
"The bookstore I need something to distract me", I explained to him.
He got off his rock and he walked over to me, he walked past me a little and then stopped.
"You coming or not", he asked me.
I nod to him and smile, happy that he wants to go with me.

"I have read one of the books you have", he said and I looked at him" And your taste in books is bad" After he said that my jaw dropped.

"no it is not", I said pissed off.

he rolled his eyes as if he did not want to argue about it, and I can't blame him because I didn't want to either.
After walking for a little we made it to a bookshop he forced me to go and not the one I wanted to. He showed me the books that he liked and they were very good the details in their writing were amazing. I got a couple of things, feitan was telling me I should just take them and go but I forced him to let me pay. After we got them I remembered something.
"Don't you need to get your outfit for the auction", I asked him.
He got mad but nodded.
I put on a big smile and pulled him along to a dressing store.
When we got in there I tried to get him to look at the suits and pick one out, but of course, he strongly disagreed. So in the end I picked out one plain black one and had him try it on. I was so excited because this would be the first time I get to see his whole face. After taking forever he walked out, he looked super uncomfortable but was his whole face gorgeous.
"It looks amazing", I said standing up proudly.
"No it doesn't", he said.
He was pissed off but that was ok.
"Yes it does now go change back and we will get it", I said with a bright smile.
I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not paying," he said.
I smirked.
"Neither am I", I said.
Of course, I wasn't going to pay that money, we were stealing it.
A smirk made its way to his face as well, he then went to change.
He came back fast and we ran out of the store I had people yelling and that made me laugh. We ended up running up the building to the top, it was a nice view but would be better if the sun was down.
"It's a nice view, might come here more often", I said.
Feitan looked at me and then walked off.
"Should probably go back", he recommended.
I nodded and we left when we walked back to the base neither of us said anything to each other and that was upsetting.
When we got back I saw no one was in the main room but as I went to my room it seemed no one was there at all.
I decided to go to Feitan's room, assuming he had already gone to his room, but when I opened his door from the looks of it he was still gone.
"Fei"? I called out just to make sure he wasn't in there.
"Ya?" He responded.
"Where is everyone", I asked him still standing in the doorway not wanting to walk in.
I hear some things being tossed around and he comes to the door to see me.
"Phinks text me saying they went out something about throwing a party before the big mission", he said.
There was blood on his face and his hands.
"What are you doing in there", I asked him.
He shrugged as he took the blood-covered gloves off his hand.
"Nothing important", he said walking back into his room.
I followed him because why not, he had thrown the gloves in the trash taken off his jacket (or whatever that thing is that he wears), and put on a black tank top. He looked so good, his arms, his face, he looked a little too good.
"You're staring", he said as he went to sit on his bed.
He sat right where I was standing so I was standing and he was sitting on his bed looking up at me.
"So what did you need"? He asked me.
At that point, I couldn't even remember why I was in there.
"Oh um I just got a little bored is all", I said smiling a little.
A smirk made its way to his face.
"And you came to me because"? He said as if it was a question.
"I don't know maybe you could make me less bored", I said my eyes never leaving his.
"Well I mean I could try", he said grabbing my hand and then putting his arm around my waist slowly pulling me onto his lap.
"Want to have a little fun princess".

So I totally forgot to post this mbbb but um you going to have to wait for the next part of this haha ❤️
