Chapter 6 (Derek)

I walked back into the washroom, uniform in hand and slipping into it. “That was a little awkward.” I said to myself “But who really cares, I’m player.” I said again to myself, I spiked up my fohawk and walked out. Rhys was gone the folders still littered my desk. Just then Samantha walked in. “What’s up?” I asked “First of all you were flirting with that Rhys girl and second of all there is another murder out of town that you’re supposed to investigate.” She said firmly. “I was not flirting with that Rhys girl!” I said angrily. “But that doesn’t matter now because you said there was another murder?” I said trying to change the subject “Yes, the map is uploading top our computer in the car let’s go.” She said walking out with a bit more attitude than usual. “Yes ma’am.” I said sarcastically slightly mad at her and walked out right behind her. We crossed the parking lot to our familiar looking car and jumped in with me at the wheel of the car and sped off to the location of the crime.

I turned down the long drive was down to the porch noticing that there were tire tracks of a car speeding off. I jumped out of the car, Samantha doing the same thing. I scanned the area with my sexy dark blue eyes and saw ad old ranch with an old country house. I walked up to the porch and found a black leather glove with blood on it. I slipped the plastic gloves on and picked it up and put it in a little baggy. “Get sky to run and examination on this when we get back.” I said firmly. “Yes sir.” Sam quietly looking surprised and pale. “Are you okay?” I asked. “What? Ya I’m fine….just tired forgot my coffee this morning.” She said and put the baggy in a file. Again we entered through the rear door so we don’t disturb the crime scene by the front door. “Wow what a bloody mess!” I exclaimed when we reached the crime scene. “He was divorced the year before so he lived alone.” Said Sam still sounding a bit on edge. I nodded and grabbed my note book and started writing notes for later:

-no forced entry

-slashed to neck

-stabbed in chest

-no defensive wounds

I looked down at the victim’s neck and saw a necklace. “This must be the necklace from the last victim!” pulling it of the neck. “Whoever this killer is, is now classified as a serial killer.” I said firmly and seriously.
