There was a awkward moment of silence, both staring into each others eyes. Grace saw it and took a deep breath saying to herself it was nothing.
Eventually Cal broke the ice.
"So what are going to do" he sounded really excited for a boy with cancer.
"Take a seat" everyone sat and Saanvi started to explain the next part of cals treatment.
"What are the chances right now of him getting better" asked Grace. "We dont know but there are really good expectations for his recover, whe just have to wait for the results." " Oh and when do we have this answers" aksed Grace rejecting way. " After this part of the treatment we can have better predictions about how it needs to go further."
"Oh oke then what you needed to discuss with us?" Deep inside there is a voice that tells saanvi that she just wanted to see Ben but she pulls it away.
"I just wanted to discuss the next step and if you guys had any questions." Grace shakes her head and looks at ben, saanvi does the same. Ben becomes a little nervous when they two women look at him that way.
"Ehm i was wondering when call may go back to school?"
" Wait a second i am gonna look in his report, eh Yeah i think he is oke to go to school but he needs to take it slowy and when he gets home he needs to take a nap."
Grace feels the tension going higher and she want to get the hell out of there." If that was it can we go then" "Yeah i am done and cal see you next week, have fun on school!"
Everyone stands up, when ben leaves the room he looks one last time in her eyes. Its making saanvi grazy how he looks at her it is a way she only has seen once well actually twice...
They walk a way when suddenly they all hear people yelling,ben looks behind him when he sees someone laying on a hospital bed rolling out of saanvi's room.he takes a few steps to look who it is when he sees that beautiful hear.
Grace also looks back because she noticed that ben din't walked next to her, she sees ben running in a way she never sees before he runs to her, to saanvi.
Grace is beginning to get a little sick of this, why is he so different and why has he suddenly such a good 'friendship' with that doctor.
When ben arrives by saanvi he askes what happened with her to the other doctor." Whe dont know she collapsed, who are you."
" I... I am her friend, Yeah friend. Can i stay with her" "Yeah sure whe need to do some tests but until she wakes up you can sit with her."
Ben takes his phone out of his pocket and text Grace that he is staying. Grace doesn't anwsers she just walks away to the car angry but she dont know why she is so angry, is she angry because of ben Staring and staying or because ben changed so much.
Ben sits in a room with saanvi, they already did some tests but now they had to wait.
Ben was tired, tired of pretending that everything can go back to normal. Tired of convincing him self that his heart was with grace. He took saanvi's hand and layed his head on her hand.
