"hold these back for me mama." she whispered gesturing my legs to me as we sat back to front in the bed. starting at my naked reflection I thought how did we get here.

flashback time

"shittt..." I groaned stretching out my limbs. click click click my joints sounded as they popped and cracked. my body shook slightly as I rolled out of bed.

"tai?" I said groggily. damn, breath hot!

"yea baby?" she threw back at me peeking her head out from the bathroom.

"what time is it?" I asked.

"uhh a little after 9am, you actually need to get up."

"omg nooooo." I whined turning around and putting my face in her pillow.

"the way you just pissed me off is outrageous. get up" she spoke sternly hitting my thigh.

the fuck? when did she even get over here? I shrugged my shoulders to myself before raising my arms to bring her down into the bed with me. leaning in for a kiss I was swiftly interrupted by a cough.

leaning over I saw keziah approaching the bed with her hands extended and her lip pouted.

"up?" she asked me

"cmon pretty girl." I said reaching down to grab her slightly moving fantasia out of the way.

"you wanna go back to sleep?" I asked while shaking my head yes to make her say it because why not?

"mmhm" she nodded and I smiled.

not for long though because her mother decided to be a hater and take her away from my hold.

"nice try baby, get up and get ready while I get her ready for her grandmother." she spoke before pecking my lips.

tired. that's what the fuck I was. who books a flight for 12pm?

"you literally said book it so we can have the rest of the day to relax." she deadpanned.

I said that out loud? oh well.

"yea yea" I waved her off as the captain came on to announce we were about to land. I braced myself and let my seat into its original position.

at the resort

"you ready mama?" she asked holding her hand out to help me up from my sitting position.

"yea." I quickly responded while extending my hand to hers and hoisting myself up. we spun facing the mirror. I pulled out my phone snapping a few photos before grabbing my purse and walking her direction.

we walked a couple feet to the car before making our way to the restaurant.

once we arrived they seated us and took our orders. fantasia ordered the lamb chops (sn: iykyk 🤣🤣🤣)
and I ordered the chicken alfredo pasta.

conversation was good until my mind started to drift elsewhere. I wanted to eat something else now. fuck this food.

"im ready to go." I stated bluntly.

"ok?" she said questionably.

"its not you well it is." I stuttered over my words slowly drifting off.

"I know, cmon." she chuckled softly while pushing back from the table.

I threw down that money so fucking quick. I was ready to get fucked.
