Hectic. Is what my house was at approximately 7 am.
We were trying to get the kids dressed and ourselves in a timely manner. Did I mention Ziah was sick?

"Baby, her temperature keeps rising," Taraji spoke worriedly.

Shaking my head at my Child's current state I ran my hand down my face in frustration. Her father was out of town and I couldn't find anyone to watch my poor child. Grabbing her softly I whispered to Raji.

"Please find me her fever medicine, my love."

"I gotchu baby," she spoke kissing my cheek.

Just as she walked away my son ran past with a toothbrush hanging from his mouth and one shoe on.

The fuck?

Breaking me from my confusion I heard a soft voice.

"Here. I'll help Dallas finish getting ready," She laughed handing me Keziah's medication and walking off. I smiled nodding my head before pulling the clear top from the medicine. Walking towards the sink I washed the top out and poured her medicine.

"Here take this baby," I spoke trying to convince her. Did it work? Fuck no. She shook her head no while trying to get out of my arms. I ended up convincing her to take it by bribing her with a new Barbie. She knocked out quickly after and the rest of the morning went smoothly.

We loaded up in the car and headed to church.

I love my family.
