I WOKE UP with an odd feeling — not a bad one, but an odd one. I get out of bed and do my morning activities, like getting dressed, makeup, and doing my hair.

I look at myself in the mirror before walking down stairs "Morning daddy" I say before giving him a peck on the cheek "Good morning Jackie" He greets while continuing to read the morning funnies in the paper.

I look down at the black box near my dad with realize that it's my parents anniversary "Is that moms gift?" I ask my dad as he smiles "Yup" He answers.

My dad's really good at getting gifts for people, have you ever heard the expression 'To be loved is to be known' Well my dad basically fits that expression perfectly because he's a listener, maybe because he's a realtor but the point is he just knows what to get people.

And on the other hand with my mom, she's not the best to be quite honest. She just gets the first thing that comes to mind when she thinks of the person.

"Take a look at this beauty" He says while open the velvet black box to reveal a gorgeous pearl and diamond bracelet "Wow that's amazing dad, she'll love it" I compliment as he lets out a sigh of relief.

"I'm glad you think so because i've been hearing her complain on how she never has a white bracelet to go with her outfits and when i went to the mall i saw this in the window and went straight up to the lady and bought it" My dad explains before standing up.

"Time to see if she likes it" He says before rushing upstairs to give my mom the present as I go and make myself something to eat. I ended up making myself a fruit bowl with some yogurt.

I followed after my dad and went up stairs to my room to see a text message from Josh, Hm wonder what he could want?
