Gone By The Wind [SasuNaru]

Chapter 4

It is now my second day in this school. Its also a Friday as well. Sasuke seemed to be out of the dorm already so I went and took a shower. After the shower I brushed my teeth and placed on a plain long sleeved shirt with jeans.

I was still thirty minutes early before my first period class so I stayed in my dorm.

The door knob seemed to move and sasuke entered. I went on my phone to avoid eye contact in hopes he doesn't start anything again.

"Look, after school, my friends will be here in my dorm. All I ask is that you aren't loud, annoying and boisterous." He said annoyed.

"sure." I responded, uninterested in anything he has to say. I can't believe people actually like him if not his looks.

He looked away from me and began getting ready for first period. At least today he isn't so cantankerous and annoying. I put my backpack on and left the dorm room. I felt his eyes staring at me. I wasn't sure what type of stare it was but knowing who I'm dealing with, probably not so friendly.

I'm sure he gave up arguing with me. It's either I got him to shut up or his friend did. Who cares? As Long as he treats me as a human being.

As for his friends coming over, I don't really care as long as they don't bother me.

I headed towards my first period class, meeting up with my friend Lee.

"Hey Naruto, I'm sorry I left you alone with him.."

"It's okay, I think he's used to me now. We established some sort of boundary." I said.

"Oh alright. I wish you the best.." he said.

It still seemed that he was quite afraid of sasuke, I can see why but he isn't the scariest in the world to me.

We made it to the class and sat down in our seats. Today was debate day. People go around and debate with other student. The debate for today was, 'Should AI be regulated?'

I really didn't have much interest in this topic. It wasn't very exciting to talk about. Rock Lee and I tried to pick sides within the topic so we can debate. We finally decided on our positions.

I'd be Anti-Ai and he'd be pro- Ai. Again, I have no interest in this so if I were to lose the debate, I wouldn't care.

But As we were about to start, two individuals walked up to us.

I looked to see a guy with brown hair and red triangle tattoos on his face and another guy with long brown hair with fair skin.

I turned back to rock lee who froze again. It's that same face he made with sasuke.

"Naruto? Right?"

"Yes, who am I speaking to?" I asked.

"I'm Neji, this is my friend kiba. You're new right?"

"Oh, yeah." I said while nodding my head.

"I heard you dorm with sasuke, is he a dork?" Kiba asked.

"Pretty much." I replied.

"I don't disagree with that but he's a close friend of mine so I don't want to talk badly of him." Neji said. "I want to get to know you, for some reason, you stood out to me."

"Stood out?" I asked.

"Yeah, like you seem like a fun person to hang around with." He added. I didn't know if it was a trap because all of sasukes friends could be assholes for all I know.

"Oh, thank you. I'm not though." I confirmed.

"Do you think he's a fun person?" Kiba asked to my friend rock lee who was still frozen.

"A-ah... yeah.." he uttered.

"See, your friend thinks so." Kiba said with his thumbs up.

"You busy during your two hour break?" Neji asked.

"No, why?"

"Want to go somewhere to eat? You can bring your friend with you." He offered.

"uh... hm... sure." I said. Even if he were to sabotage me, at least I'd have something to eat. I'm starving.

"Great, meet up near my dorm room 16." He said, smiling and walking away.

Rock lees frozen expression returned to normal as he stared at me in disbelief.

"How do you just do That?"

"What do you mean?"

"It's your second day and your friends with the popular people." He said, having an overwrought expression on his face.

"I think it's a trap I'm not sure. I don't want to get involved in their doings." I said.

First period went by and second period came by. Second period I just rested my head on the desk. The teacher wasn't there, it was just a sub who didn't pay attention.

I slept my way through second period and woke up to the bell that signified my break time.

I went to go find rock lee who agreed to come after some convincing and we walked to room 16 and knocked.

The door opened to Neji and a red haired individual. I saw rock lees face tense up again.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Mhm."

"You don't mind if my friend comes right?" He asked again.

"I don't." I replied.

Lee and I followed the two men out of the building to the nearest food place there, ramen. I was in luck. I love ramen.

When we got there, me and rock lee sat across from the two boys. We ordered Ramen from the menus and began conversations.

"I haven't introduced myself to you, I'm Gaara."

"I'm naruto, this is my friend rock lee." I said.

"Oh I know Lee, he's a very cute one." He said.

Rock lees face was flooded with intense blush. He hid his face with his hand. I was very confused but didn't ask.

"So how do you feel about the uchiha?" Gaara asked.

"He's rude and disrespectful."

"Any better qualities?"

"He's tall and annoying." I added.

This caused laughter from the two. the waitress came back and delivered the ramen to all of us.

I immediately started to slurp the ramen but not too fast or else my stomach would hurt. It was absolutely delicious. I haven't had ramen in a while. I used to binge-eat it back in my Highschool days.

"You know, if sasuke finds out about this, he'd kill both of us." Neji said to Gaara.

"I know, can't wait." he replied.

Does sasuke not like me that much? Curse me for spilling water on him. What a victim.
