Gone By The Wind [SasuNaru]

Chapter 6

Finally a Saturday. I don't plan on leaving my dorm today at all. I completely forgot to shower yesterday after throwing up. I got up and walked to the bathroom. I saw the ravens eye follow me but I didn't pay it no mind. I also brought clothes with me just so I don't have to change with him there.

I hopped into the shower, letting the water run down and bringing me to a whole other world. Showers always relax me but it doesn't always comfort me. When it hits the scar on my chest, it starts to burn.

I've been showering with cold water ever since I got that scar. It hurts less in that case.

I made my way out the shower, brushed my teeth and changed into comfortable sweatpants and an oversized hoodie. I walked out the bathroom with the towel around my neck.

I looked over to sasuke who seemed to be doing his work. I still feel like I should thank him but I don't know how.

I don't know why he did that for me yesterday. He doesn't even like me. I sat down on my bed, now bored.

I looked down on the floor, unsure what to do now. I could work on stuff I have but that sounds like a Sunday problem.

I heard footsteps towards me, I looked up and sasuke was standing in front of me.

"you okay?" He asked.

"yeah.." I replied

he nodded his head and walked away. "wait." I said. causing him to look back.

"Thank you for yesterday." I said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear.

"yeah yeah. it's the bare minimum." He replied.

bare minimum to you. nobody has done that for me. I felt like I owed him something.

"Is there anything I can do for you?" I asked out of nowhere.

"I don't need any of your help."

just when I thought he was somewhat getting better.

"oh okay." I replied. He returned to his bed and laid his head against his pillow. I got up from my bed, to the kitchen for a glass of cold water. Water is the only thing I can really consume, along with small snacks and sugary drinks without throwing up.

I washed the cup after I drank it and placed it back in its section. I went back to our area and looked down. The tape on the floor were all wrinkled from all of the people last night.

As I was about to sit down, someone knocked. I got up and checked the hole in the door. It was neji. I opened the door and welcomed him in.

"hey Naruto."

"hello." I replied.

when I looked back, the raven had a confused expression on his face.

"how do you know him?" he asked his friend.

"We met yesterday, nothing big." Neji responded.

sasuke nodded his head, still a bit confused by our interaction but didn't pay it no mind. I returned to my bed and sat down.

"sasuke you got to take someone out for sakuras party tonight."

"I know..."

"You have lots of options. You have Sakura herself, ino, tenten even Hinata." He said, "you are one lucky dude."

"I don't like any of them. might not even go."

"come on sasuke you never miss out on parties... you got to pick one chick." Neji said, trying to convince the raven.

sasuke rolled his eyes and got up from his bed. Neji turned to look at me, "oh Naruto, sakura invited you, want to come?"

"uh.." I looked over to sasuke who gave me the most evil look known to mankind. It frustrated my answer towards the brown haired individual.

"Don't be worried about him, you can come if you want." Neji said.

"sure..?" I replied. I didn't have anything better to do today anyway. I hope I won't regret doing this.

Neji gave a pat on sasukes back before leaving the dorm. The raven walked up to me, with an annoyed expression. He grabbed my arm and pulled me up from my bed so easily.

"can you stop pulling my arm... it hurts."

"You shouldn't go to this party, it's more than what you expect."

"I'm 18, I can handle a party." I responded.

"you're an idiot."

"I'm not."

"you are. you think they just invited you because they like you?." He said, "this is sakura we are talking about."

"Are you mad I'm stealing your friends or something?

"blondie, you did this to yourself." He said, walking away. I rolled my eyes. I felt as if he was a bit mad that his friends actually like me some sort.

I went to my drawer and picked out formal yet sexy outfits for tonight. I guess dancing the pain away would be better than sitting in his dorm doing absolutely nothing.

I assume this sakura person is the pink haired or blond haired girl that was nearly on top of sasuke last night. I don't know why she invited me though. She doesn't know me. I felt like that part was a bit off but maybe someone told her about me?

One thing for sure, I'll try my best to avoid alcohol and drugs. I basically forced them to be apart of my life in Highschool after my life basically went to hell.

I looked back at sasuke who also seemed to be preparing for the night. I don't know what is up with him. Why doesn't he really want me to come? Does he know something I don't? I felt a bit offended when he told me to stay.

I'm capable of handling parties and more. I'd ask Lee to come with me but I don't know if he's invited or not.

I should have asked Neji where the location was but honestly I'll just depend on Sasuke. He probably would be annoyed I'm following him but oh well, once we get there, I won't bother him.

I can't wait for this party actually, this could probably impact me in a great way.
