Finding Rapunzel

The tower

Walking on the grass with the faint light of dawn
A heart filled with love but all alone
Maybe she's in the forest,the perfect girl for me
They told me it was just a dream I told them we'll see
For months I have searched
Without proper rest
For the lover for which my heart keeps space
And today a smile sits on my face
The day has finally come to meet the one for whom my heart longs
I could tell there was a difference in the way the birds sang their songs
The sun rose and it's golden glow and a gentle breeze hit my skin
I saw a tower where I dreamt my lover to be in
"Anyone inside",I shouted
And a response came which I never doubted
Golden hair,big blue eyes and smooth vanilla skin
I was told my dreams were lies but now I have arrived at the scene
At last it was her
The girl of my dreams for whom I came this far
"My name is Rapunzel",she said,
"Thank you for coming to my aid"
I rescued her from the tower
But her stepmother would surely track us down with her evil power
But I'll forever love and protect her as she is under my care
While at the tower her step mother shouted, "Rapunzel Rapunzel let down your hair!"
