He stands on the deck letting the night breeze blow his hair around. He's watching the water for whales, maybe even dolphins. He hasn't seen any of course.

He really likes water and the ocean despite not being the best swimmer in the world, he doesn't swim often. Never much in his childhood, his mom had pulled him away from any chance.
She has a fear of the ocean, a deep fear. She claims Quackity's father died from drowning, that something from the deep had pulled him down...

He is distracted watching the waves when there is a tap on his shoulder.
"Hey,"

He turns seeing Foolish standing there.

Uh oh.

"So..." Foolish leans on the railing by him, "I noticed one of my rings was missing earlier."

Quackity feels his face start to burn,
"You caught me there" he replies.

"So you took it?" Foolish asks.

Quackity pulls the ring from his pocket holding it out twords the waiter.
Foolish pauses before reaching down curling Quackity's hand back over the ring.

"Keep it" he says.

"Really?" Quackity asks in surprise.

"Yeah, a gift from me to you" Foolish replies.

Quackity's heart is warming to him already, even though they just met at dinner.

"Thanks" he slowly slips the ring back into his pocket zipping it up.

"Do you like the ocean too?" Foolish asks as he stares out over the water.

"Yeah" Quackity replies, "do you?"

He nods.

"I really like sharks" he says simply. His emerald green eyes seem to glow as he says it.
Then he pauses,

"Have you ever heard of the Waterspirits?"

"Huh? No?" Quackity blinks, "water... spirits?"

"It's an old tale, they lived hundreds of years ago... but when humans started developing they hid deep under the ocean." Foolish tells him.

"What... are they like?" Quackity asks.

"The stories say they look human, almost like faeries, watery dresses and translucent fairy-like wings used for swimming, they have silky hair, I'd imagine it just like how yours looks without your beanie" Foolish explains, "mostly they are just really pretty, they used to attract sailors and had children with them... but then they started to drown the sailors... and then eventually disappeared under the water never coming back... although it's said maybe they hide on land in human disguise, so no one will know what they truly are."

He suddenly stops,

"Ah, sorry I probably sound like a total nerd."

"No" Quackity replies, "it actually sounds really interesting, where did you learn about all this?"

"My grandfather had some drawings he took from an old book before they pronounced Waterspirits myths, but i think they could be real" Foolish shrugs.

"You... more than like the ocean, you want to know everything about it" Quackity murmurs.

Foolish nods, "yes, the ocean is the one place we haven't been able to travel far in, who knows what's down there."

Quackity stares into the dark water below, it suddenly looks dangerous, like his mother had always said.

"If I fell off the boat would you save me? He asks.

"Well I mean yes, why?" Foolish asks gazing at him.

"I'm just not a strong swimmer" Quackity admits.

Foolish stares,
"You're... not? Why are you on a ship then?"

"Um, because I don't plan on falling off the boat" Quackity replies.

"Well yes, and this is an unsinkable ship" Foolish proclaims, "so nothing could go wrong."

Quackity nods,

"Ah, sorry I got sidetracked" Foolish checks his watch.
"See you tomorrow at dinner Quackity?"

"Yeah" Quackity replies.

He watches Foolish walk away then goes back to staring at the water.
He hears more walking feet approaching and sighs.

"Go away arrogant b-tch."

"I saw you talking to the waiter guy~" Wilbur's voice whispers in his ear "You like him? You're gayy."

"First of all that's rude to just say, second of all I am attracted, that's it" Quackity turns to him crossing his arms.

The other man just sighs.

"Why do you care anyway?" Quackity asks, "honestly leave me alone."

"Why? I'm bored" Wilbur replies with a grin, then he leans closer.
"Not the best swimmer eh?" He asks quietly.

"You're spying on me!?" Quackity snaps.

"Just overheard" he replies.

"Seriously leave me alone" Quackity warns.

"Or what?"

"Or... what?" Quackity asks.

"Yeah" the other man looks around the deck.

"Or ill beat your ass" Quackity replies finally.

"Wow stop swearing at me, never been taught manners?" The taller male asks slyly.

"I wouldn't be polite to someone like you" Quackity scoffs, "now stop eavesdropping on my conversations, I don't even know you!"

"You will better soon maybe" the other man replies, "see you later... Quackity."
Then he walks off.

What...

Quackity stares after him then decides he should probably just go to bed. He's trying to figure out why this guy keeps annoying him.
He said he thought Quackity was a woman that's why he knocked on the door.
But he won't leave him alone now.

Does he like me?

No... because he was talking to woman.
Maybe he likes... both?
Quackity recoils at the thought, Karl and Sapnap are the only people he knows who are different in that they like all genders, pansexual it's called...

Then this annoying guy could very well be that... or perhaps Bisexual... or not. Maybe he's just being a nuistance because he thinks he's all that cool stuff.

Quackity decides that's the case then walks inside.

Wilbur POV

What is it like to kiss a man?
That's what he's wondering, does it feel the same as kissing a woman?

He has never tried it, he's never really been attracted to a man, but now he knows a guy on the ship who does like men. He wants to know, whats the difference?

What's so enjoyable about liking the same gender as yourself?
Where's hes from people would call men like that... some bad names.

He has been raised in a committed that tells him he's normal, but does he want to be normal?
Plus he kinda wants to find out more about that guy... Quackity, the pretty one.

The pretty one...
