chapter two: school day

~narrators pov~

it has been a week since they went to work with their fathers and it was now school time. Quin was up and dressed by 7:30am eating her breakfast at the kitchen island as her mum and dad were talking, Seren making Quins lunch for the day. once it was all done Zaahir grabbed his keys making his way outside as Seren gave the lunch box too Quin following her out the door and waving the two of.

Quin got in the car as her father started to drive of too her school. once they arrived at the school Quin and Zaahir got out of the car walking her into the school yard.

"here you go dear, ill be back to pick you up later okay." Zaahir said kissing his daughters head.

"oh Zaahir your daughter comes here too?" Nebula said making his way too Zaahir and Quin with his two sons following behind.

"ah yes she's just starting, aren't you my little angel." Zaahir said ruffling his daughters hair as she smiled up at him.

"its great your here, Tarvos wants to set up a play date for your daughter and my sons, I was going to talk to you about it at work but its best here so we can see if angel Quin likes the idea" Nebula said with a smile crouching down to be on Quins level.

"id love too, can we dada" Quin said with a bright smile tugging on her dads sleeve.

"of course we can sweetie." Zaahir said smiling down at his daughter.

"that's great, I will pick her up on Saturday at 10 and bring her back by 3." Nebula said pinching Quins cheeks as she giggled.

"that's great, now in you go sweetie, have a good day." Zaahir said beckoning his daughter to go inside.

"bye dada!" Quin shouted waving before making her way inside, Tarvos and Mattrex following behind waving goodbye too their father as well.

Mattrex watched as Quin bounced into the school halls as a small smile plastered onto his face before he looked down at his feet as he caught himself smiling. they all made their way too their classes watching the time go by as they did their school work, soon enough it was lunch time and all the kids went bombarding the lunch hall.

Quin sat in a corner by herself opening her lunchbox her mum packed for her, she opened it taking out her sandwich and unwrapped the clingfilm and put it to the side as she began to eat. soon enough Tarvos came barrelling towards Quins table Mattrex following behind. they both joined the table Tarvos sitting right beside Quin as Mattrex sat across from them.

"oh my, you know on our play date I could show you the house and give you a tour!" Tarvos said with a little bounce.

as Tarvos and Quin was talking Mattrex just ate his food glancing up at Quin whenever she was talking giving her his full attention hoping to not be noticed as he was staring so much, becoming slightly jealous that his brother was talking to her so much and wanted to be in his place but he wasn't that kind of boy. he was quiet, kept too himself and always wanted to be alone. soon enough lunch was over and they had too start heading to their last classes of the day. the class flew by as they was already making their way home.

Quin got in talked about her day with a bright smile on her face had her dinner and went straight to bed waiting for it to be the next day so she can see Tarvos and Mattrex again.
