The sun was high in the sky. Hare spread her wings wider and enjoyed the mixed feeling of warmth and cold. It was nice. Frost glittered on the ground. A gray wolf trotted across the rocks. Hare swooped down and caught the unsuspecting animal easily. Kookaburra stared in awe as she returned to the group.

"You made that look so simple," he gasped. He turned to Liana. "Will you teach me how to hunt like that?"

"It's harder to do that in the rainforest," Liana pointed out. "It's much easier in the open air, but I'll teach you techniques that will fit our home."

Kookaburra flapped his wings excitedly. "Will we be able to hunt wolves?"

"Wolves don't live in the rainforest," Liana pointed out.

"We can share mine," Hare offered.

Kookaburra nodded. "What about jaguars?"

"No, you might accidentally kill someone's pet."

Glory's eyes suddenly widened and she looked back at them. "I forgot about Silver," she breathed.

"It'll be fine," Liana promised. "Our patrols find lost pets and bring them to the shelter. We can bring you there when we get home so you can pick her up."

"How will I know which one she is?" Glory asked anxiously.

"She'll recognize you," Liana promised.

"How do RainWings know which sloths and jaguars are pets and which aren't?" Hare asked.

"You can tell in their body language," Liana explained. "It's something you're taught at a young age."

"I haven't learned it!" Kookaburra whined.

"You will," Liana sighed.

"I don't understand why you all are talking about RainWings and rainforests," Blaze said. "What do IceWings have to do with that?"

Dainty did a flip in the air while Glory and Liana exchanged looks, changing her scales back to their pink color. "Because we are RainWings."

Blaze gasped, looking mystified. "Ooooo," she said enviously. "I wish I could do that. I'd be so many colors, I'd be the prettiest dragon ever! I mean, I already am, but I'd be soooo much prettier!"

The others shifted their colors back, Jambu changing his last.

"My friends are down there," Glory said, pointing down to the cliff where the dragonets and Kestrel were. "Come on."

They all dove down toward the cliff. Sunny smiled at them as they landed. "You convinced her!"

"Well done," Nightingale said, stepping over Kestrel to get to them. She narrowed her eyes slightly. "I see you also dropped the disguises."

"Kookaburra and Dainty gave us away on our way here," Liana huffed.

Kookaburra bristled. "Did not!"

"I only told her because she asked," Dainty argued.

Blaze seemed uninterested in the argument. "Look at you all! So many colors and new faces! And you" - she poked Kestrel's side - "you're a little out of place. Aren't you a little old to be one of the dragonets of destiny?"

Kestrel swatted her away. "I'm no dragonet," she snapped. "I'm their guardian, you sheep-brained-"

"It's an honor to meet you," Starflight interrupted, shooting Kestrel a look.

"Well, well!" Blaze purred, clapping her talons together. "Don't be shy, introduce yourselves!"

"I'm Tsunami," Tsunami said. "Princess Tsunami, daughter of Queen Coral. The SandWing is Sunny."
