Despite only being a kit when taken into ThunderClan, negative taunts are constantly thrown her way. They only grow sharper when a kittypet joins ThunderClan and becomes Bluestar's pupil. She works her tail off to prove she's worthy of approval, to prove she can be just as strong of a warrior as any other cat. But one night, a secret is revealed that changes everything. And it only proves that Frecklesong's blood may lead her to a worse fate in ThunderClan than it previously did. Now officially faced with kin closer than she expected, she has a choice. Stay with the Clan that she's been working so hard to prove herself to since she was a kit, or follow the path of her blood to her kin and a hope of a better future, a hope of finally being accepted. They've been unbothered by them for years, but one day an attack from cats in the Valley sends them all into a panic. The Guild that was attacked lives in fear that they'll be struck again. That is, until The United Three. In Midnight's Guild, Rust feels as though he's being watched, no matter where he goes. In Wire's Guild, Ioclaw has multiple near-to-death experiences since starting her training. In Tawny's Guild, Peril keeps having odd dreams that feel way too realistic. These three don't know it yet, but soon they're going to have to place their trust into each other and save the Guilds from something more perilous than they could ever imagine. War is coming and the Prophet Cats have spoken: The United Three will come and save the Guilds from destruction.

After all, what good is a hybrid when it comes to bargaining? So she was surprised to find herself on the NightWing island with one of her closest friends. The home of the NightWings is dangerous, and so are the dragons who live on it. Secrets and twisted lies rest below the depths of the volcanic rocks, and it may be up to Hare and Starflight to figure it out. But how can two dragonets stop an entire tribe, and what will it cost to try?

Hare will do whatever it takes to see the war end and let the continent live in peace. She will give the SandWings a queen, though she's not sure she'd be able to watch her mother die. When Hare realizes that there's no convincing her friends to keep trying, she turns to another group of dragonets to ask them for help. Flame hates the prophecy. He hates his stupid fate and the stupid NightWing that threw him into this mess. When he finds out the prophecy was fake all along, he's more than happy to give up. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war. Both groups of dragonets have lived their entire lives in a lie, but one will end the war and make Pyrrhia the continent it was before. Now it's up to the dragonets to decide whether to follow the prophecy or save their friend.
