The next morning is chaotic.

"Mimi! Have you seen my sock!" I shout, fumbling with my trunk latch.

"No!" She shouts back, trying to shove everything into my pack. "What does it look like?"

"I- um.

"What does it look like, (Y/N)?"

"It'shotpinkwithrainbowunicornsandicecream."

"Huh?"

"It's hot pink with rainbow unicorns and ice cream."

Hermione looks like she's trying to hold in a laugh. I glare at her. "Hmm," She says. "I haven't found a hot pink sock with rainbow unicorns and ice cream, maybe we should ask the boy's dormitory?"

"No!" I squeal, as I throw a pillow at her. She laughs while fixing her hair. I check the time using my pocket watch. It's 10:55 am. "Ah! I have five minutes!"

"Gosh, (Y/N)!" Hermione rushes, and we carry the trunk together down to the first floor. We run through the corridors and reach the train station outside. The snow falls on my eyelashes and nips at my nose. Hermione is still struggling to put on her jacket. Outside, I shove my feet with snowy wet socks into my boots. It will dry later.

"Oh, Mimi?" I say, as I realize something I forgot. "On my bed, in the dorm, there's a book that belongs in Professor McGonagall's office. There's a little flower bookmark inside. Can you take the book back for me, but place the bookmark on my desk?"

"Yes, sure," Hermione breathes, a small cloud emitting from her mouth. Her nose and cheeks are tinted pink from the cold, and she rubs her hands together.

Hogwarts from afar is quite stunning, in the winter. I see light from inside the castle, and I hear students bustle around. Snow falls and creates a blanket on top of the roofs. Train noises become louder and louder from behind me.

"This it, Mimi?"

"(Y/N), don't act like we're not seeing each other again," She pouts, looking at me.

"But it's so long, over a week, Mimi!" I slap my covered arms onto my side. I'm currently using the sweater from Ms. Weasley, and without anything else, it's quite freezing.

"You'll be fine, (N/N)," I admire Hermione's stunning face.

She makes a smiling face at me, her eyebrows drooping, slightly. She points behind me, and mouths train. And I don't know why I'm so sad that I'm leaving my best friend only for one week, but when I hug her firmly, I feel my throat tighten a little. As we break apart, we laugh, trying to shove down our emotions.

Gosh, we are so emotional.

I carry my things and go onto the train, "Bye, Mimi!" I wave, my best friend twinkling back at me.

"Farewell, (Y/N)!" She shouts, over the train engine.

"Farewell?!" I gape, looking at her. Hermione laughs, but the train starts to move.

I tug my trunk down the train hallway, and I see a tall, strong figure standing in front of me. Cedric.

"Hey, Celeste!" Cedric waves, he's wearing a baggy blue shirt with beige jeans.

"Hi, Ced," I smile, as I walk closer to the fourth year.

"Wanna join me in my compartment? The train is kind of empty."

"Yes, sure!" I smile, I would rather sit with someone then no one for four hours. I drag my trunk into the compartment that Cedric moves into. I sit across of him, the train roaring behind us.
