I walked down stairs I passed jake we both looked at each other then away. I grabbed a water from the fridge.

"Mind if I join" I asked jake biting my lip.

He looked up at me and then at my legs he swallowed a lump and nodded.

I sat at the end of the couch keeping a distance,I tried to open my water but it was to tight. "Stupid thing" I complained. Jake looked over towards me and smiled the first smile he had showed towards me in a while my heart just skipped a beat.

"Here let me" he offered. I was sure now that my face was bright red.

I moved closer towards him and gave him the bottle. He opened it with ease he handed it back to me. "Uh thanks" I whispered. "It's no problem" he laughed.

"Almost your birthday" jake smiled.

"Yah big eighteen woop woop" I laughed.

"So anything you want" he asked.

"You don't have to get me anything it's fine" I said smiling.

"No I want to" he quickly blurted out placing a hand on my leg. I nodded and looked down at his hand making me shiver. The front door opened and closed. "I'm home" cara's voice shouted. I quickly got up and moved jake did the same.

"Hey cara" I said giving her a half smile.

"Hey,hey" she piped moving her hips.

"Hey you" she said to jake kissing him. He smiled and pecked her lips.

"So what you get" jake piped.

"Pizza" cara smiled.

"Awesome" I laughed.

We ate our pizza while watching titanic. Cara fell asleep I was crying because jack said he love rose how on earth can someone fall asleep in this part of the movie.

Jake looked at me "you alright" he asked. I nodded a few more tears coming. He walked over towards me, he quickly picked me up and sat down with me on his lap,what was he doing i felt my body tingle. "Shh it ok" he reassured me. I relaxed in his arms as he stroked my hair. I was now crying because jack was dying and telling Rose not to let go.

I quickly looked away as she let go. Jake looked down at me he kissed my forehead. "It's alright" he said.

The movie finished and jake carried me up to my bed. "Can I ask you something" he asked. I nodded "why did you cry when jack said admitted his love to Rose" he asked.

"Because that's what true love is he was willing to die for her that's how strong there love was" I whispered the last bit.

He nodded and kissed my forehead "goodnight sweet dreams " jake said.

"Thanks you to" I said.

I slowly fell asleep....

I woke up washed my face did everything I needed to do and walked down stairs. I was wearing a cute skirt with a cute top.

"Morning" I piped.

Cara's head shot up "oh hey" she yawned... "We're you off to" she asked. "Just out ill be back for lunch" I smiled. "Ok and were having some friends over so you can invite some over" she sighed not looking to happy. I smiled and nodded walking out.
