New Baltic Sea, Soviet Union

As they continued their journey towards Kaliningrad, a city within the Soviet Union, the refugees from Qua-Toyne and Quilla found themselves pleasantly surprised by the comfort and hospitality aboard the convoy of Soviet naval vessels. The Soviet sailors informed them that this formidable fleet was known as the 1st Ulyanovsk Carrier Battle Group, a crucial component of the Soviet Baltic Fleet.

Intrigued by this revelation, Captain Midori of the Pima warship, along with the Qua-Toynese sailors from the remnants of Qua-Toyne's 2nd Fleet, expressed a keen interest in learning more about the size and composition of this "Baltic Fleet." They were particularly curious to discover whether the Soviet Navy operated other similarly formidable fleets.

Currently, Kanata of Qua-Toyne was inside the bridge of the Project 1143.7 aircraft carrier SN Ulyanovsk, observing its vast deck with a mixture of awe and disbelief. He had never imagined that any nation could possess a ship of such immense proportions. Moreover, the 1st Ulyanovsk Carrier Battle Group included other vessels of considerable size, although none as massive as the carrier itself. What left him most astonished was the fact that these ships were constructed entirely of metal and operated without the use of sails.

Kanata: "Rear Admiral Sokolov. This ship and other ships, there is no sail can be seen, but how can it move? It doesn't have any oar, but how can this ship and the other ships in this fleet move at this speed? C-Can it be, they are something like the magic ship of the First Civilized Land?"

Kanata asked the Rear Admiral Alexander Sokolov, who was also observing the ship's deck with his distinctive stern yet calm expression.

Sokolov: "I am uninformed about what kind of ship is the magic ship of the First Civilized Land. But usually ordinary ships is moved by a diesel engine, while this ships is moved by nuclear reactor."

Kanata: "A diesel engine?"

Sokolov: "Yes, it's what is called as an engine. To put in simple terms, it uses the power of air from burning oil to rotate turbine blades, which through several shafts, rotates a screw to propel the ship."

Kanata: "Hmm, I don't really understand, but it sounds amazing. But what about this nuclear one?"

Sokolov: "Ahhh, about the nuclear one. Unfortunately, I can't tell you about it since it was so complicated. I'm sorry, comrade Kanata."

Kanata: "It's okay, Rear Admiral Sokolov."

Kanata stated, in a somewhat indifferent manner, that he was unable to ascertain further details regarding the new technology in question, which was believed to be in the possession of the Soviet Union.

From Kanata's Diary, that day's entry:

How should I put this? I can't hide my surprise, I have never seen or heard a ship this big, and also the ships that accompany this large ship are also quite large. I also never read something like this in any books.

Furthermore, the ship's interior is pleasantly bright, and for the rooms, even though it is quite narrow because of the large number of personnel who sleep here, have unbelievably maintained at a fixed temperature. Despite the ship is large, it traveled through the ocean like an arrow.

Just what kind country is the Soviet Union that can build something like this? In our country before being conquered by the Lourians, there were people who say that.

"There is no mistake that a nation outside of Civilized Areas and even outside of Rodenius continent, is a barbarous country."
