It was the day of my birthday
We have school
I go to school
No one says happy birthday
I get sadder and sadder
When I get home the door is locked
I forgot my key In my room
There's another one under a rock in the garden
I find the key
Unlock the door
The lights flick on
"SURPRISE!" Everyone yells
I turn to Hazel
"Was this your idea?"
"No, it was-"
"You approved it?"
"Ya."
"YOU KNOW I DONT LIKE SURPRISES!" I yell
Then someone puts their hand on my shoulder
I turn around and-
"Will?"
"Ya?"
"Why are you here?"
"We're dating and it was my idea!"
"Will, no more surprises, ok?"
"Just a few more?"
"I hate surprises." I state
"I know, Hazel told me!"
