One week later

" So how is the case coming along?" Jimmy says

" It's been progressing very well actually" She takes a sip on her drink

" Mea hey" Michelle says. " Thank you for repping Zayir, Malcolm has been pretty stressed about it"

" I'm happy to help"

" Okay enjoy the rest of the night and thank you for coming to my kick back"

She smiles and walks away

" What's the relationship like between Zayir and Malcolm?" Mea says to her bestfriend

" They seem to get along just fine to me, why?"

" Zayir said that they do not get along that well and he thinks Malcolm is trying to frame him"

" Well Malcolm did had an affair with the same woman as his cousin-

" Or do you think maybe Michelle, look I know she is your cousin but what if she found out about the affair and killed the sidechick?"

" That's a crazy suspicion and accusation altogether Michelle ain't ni murderer and maybe my cousin is right, her husband probably is the one who did it"

" I'm sorry for coming off that way but I'm just trying to look at this case from different angles"

" It's okay, I understand, and look who just walked in, your client and he is coming straight over here. Imma go keep myself busy and try not to talk about the case for the rest of the night, live a little"

" Jimmy" Zayir daps him up as Jimmy walks pass him

" Good evening Ms. Harper, you look relaxed"

" It's a good night"

" Yes it is" He says as he takes a seat across from her

" I wasn't expecting to see you here considering the estranged relationship you have with your cousin"

" My cousin in law invited me"

" Does she know about the issue between you two?"

" She knows there something but I dont think she knows a whole framing me for murder"

" We will have to gather more evidence to prove that accusation"

" Look at you working overtime on my case, I appreciate it" He licks his lips.

" I need another drink"

" I can get it for you"

" No, it's fine I got it"

" Do you ever give anyone else a chance to do stuff for you?"

" I can get my own drink Mr. Malloy" She walks away leaving him there with a smirk on his face.
