The Possessive Alpha

Chapter 6

Kong squirmed in his seat. His ass and lower back hurting. Arthit rut started in the early morning hours after capture the flag and lasted all weekend. Kong got very little rest. Unlike his heat which lasted four maybe five days, his alpha rut only lasted two days. Much to Kong relief. Now that his alpha had his rut, that means his heat would start soon. He hoped it would be after the beach trip. If there was one.

"Kong are you paying attention?" The second-year alpha asked.

"Sorry my mind is elsewhere can you repeat the question?" the second year scuffed rolling his eyes.

"You asked me to help you study please pay attention." Kong glared at the second year annoyed. He wasn't the one who asked for help. It was his friends. If he wanted help, he would ask his alpha and seniors. Not this fool.

The second year went over the notes again answering questions his friends had. Tew, Wad, Oak and Aim all gathered around the table, taken notes, and listening. Kong perked up, the smell of chocolate hitting his senses. He could tell the difference between someone eating chocolate and his mate smell. His alpha scent was deeper, with just a hint of vanilla mixed in. His mate was close by.

"Any questions? Is there any parts you don't understand?" the second year asked, noticing Kong changed in attitude.

"Yes." Oak said. "All of it." Everyone laughed, shacking their head.

"You are a moron" The second year said joking.

"Your brain must be full of other shit." Aim said making everyone laugh.

"No, well maybe, but come on you have to admit calculus is hard." Oak whined

"It's easy for me." Kong said. "I wouldn't be here if you all didn't ask me to be." Kong said giving second year the side eye.

"That is because you have your own private tutor at home." Aim said laughing.

"Who by the way said he would help all of us, but you all are scared of him." Kong sassed back.

"You have to admit, he is scary, Kong." Tew pointed out. "the only person is he nice too is you."

"Not true. You just don't know him well enough." Kong defended.

"Kong has a point. Other than that, one time he tried to kill me, he is a halfway decent man. I would have fought harder to get Kong to reject him, if it wasn't for how whipped he is for our friend here." Aim laughed while Kong gave them a bright smile. The second-year senior listening closely. Everyone knew who Kong mate was, but to hear this was different. He knew Arthit was cold hearted, but did he really try and kill his mates best friend?

"Back to the matter at hand...calculus is still hard and none of us will pass this upcoming test." Oak whined, putting his head in his hands.

"Cheer up guys and hang in there. After the exam, we are going on a trip!" Tew said getting the attention of everyone there.

"A trip?" Oak asked?

"eh...the senior said that after the exam they will take us to the beach." Tew said smiling wide.

"That hasn't been approved yet Tew, don't get their hopes up." Kong said frowning. How did he know about the trip? "My mate has a meeting today about it with the professor."

"But...I was told it was a sure thing..." He said confused.

"They hope it's a sure thing. I hope they get the approval! It would be nice to relax at the beach" Kong said laughing.

"Even if it's a trip to the beach, I don't trust that it will be fun. I'm sure the hazers have something up their sleeves. They can never make things easy for us. Makes me not want to go." Aim complained.
