Someone in the comments thought a Boa Hancock cosplay would be mint. Well, I haven't been absorbed into One Piece culture, but I respect it. Let's ride.
Enjoy.

Another day, another cosplay. Class went by as you got a text right before lunch. With the talk and all the likes, there was only time before Marin was going to get a new idea going on and put it in a group chat between her, (F/N), and Gojo. This meant business and a new fun adventure.
Marin
Hey guys. I was watching my favorite pirate anime and was wondering how a long skirt could be pulled off. (For reader purposes it's Boa Hancock in her red big open shirt and long skirt)
"Ummm..." (F/N) looked at a photo of the character. Now I have to probably special order or print this. I can figure it out. Ma would know. Worst case probably sew it custom onto the skirt. But uh, this one is pretty risqué. My family is going to be all over me.
Looks great. Now to plan with Gojo.
Gojo
This is an interesting piece. I'll get to the drawing board.
Let's meet the shop after school is over. Let's handle it.
(F/N) put his phone in his pocket and took out a magazine catalog from his backpack. He went to go through some material cost. It was one a supply house gave the shop as a way to advertise materials for the place and compare.
Someone looked over his shoulder. "Hey dude, what's that?"
"Oh, this?" He looked up over to his classmate. "I'm looking for some material and this is from the vendor. My family has a shop."
"Oh nice. You sell fabrics?"
"They do. I shoot photos. But I got a client who needs fabric so I give them a discount at the shop and go from there."
"Damn dude. Sick. If I get my girlfriend to cosplay I know where to find you."
Hm. Maybe I should browse through this in class more often. It's basically advertising.

(F/N)'s mother and his cousin Tomika were at the shop looking into the catalog and the anime character that Marin sent. Since this was a professional relationship, his mother was strictly looking at fabric while, Tomika was just seeing the full picture.
"Okay Cuz, who likes tits more? You or her?"
"Come on!" He replied.
His mother just looked up. "Ya know, I will say this. Work and pleasure is hard to combine. She's a beautiful girl and showed respect in here. For what it's worth so far I don't see any red flags. But you know this isn't a dating pad and I expect business and personal you treat her with respect. And you, me and your mother would appreciate not loudly talking about the shelf."
"Shelf?" Pondered Tomika.
"Melons. Hooters. Cans. Bazongas. Upstairs female anatomy!" She boomed.
"Message received..." Tomika was a little surprised to be lectured by her aunt. Her pretty much defended Marin.
"As for you. I don't care if it's school, in the shop, swimming, mountain climbing, or riding off on a horse. Rules still apply." His mother explained to him as well.
"Swimming, climbing, and riding horses? Where's that all going?"
"I read it off a tampon box while going shopping."
"Great. Just great." He replied sarcastically.
"Well if you can't have fun, why have one? Anyways, looks like we're going to be custom printing this one. You said the designer is coming in too?"
"Marin and Gojo should be in at any time. Just to over a gameplan. Also, she picks the characters. I just look in the lens and see what looks good and tasteful. Although she's a little more risqué than I bargained for I will admit."
"No kidding. Still, I kind of like her. If she keeps tagging the fabric shop here and there and it keeps the business flowing, she is our billboard and your golden ticket."
"Come on..."
His mother stepped forward. "Don't sweat it. We have a gameplan for her. Regardless of the status, she is a customer that is promoting business for the shop. Business is going well."
"Hi all." Marin was walking into the shop next to Gojo.
Gojo smiled. "One of my favorite places to be."
(FN) greeted them warmly. "Welcome. Mother saw the pattern and she is as we speak working on printing a few meters of fabric and going to get your measurements."
"I'm getting measured? Sweet." Marin had a hard time containing her excitement. She felt nearly like a princess. Feeling as though she was getting special treatment.
"They're the professionals. Might as well. Although thank you for the surplus in material." Bowed Gojo.
"If you can, whatever you don't use we'll split. I have an idea for it honestly." (FN) smirked.
"I'm so curious. What are you thinking?" Gojo seemed eager.
"One, we could make fans. Two, a pocket square for next time we need a suit. Third, I was thinking about making charms." (FN) had this image in his head about Marin holding one of the fans and him wearing a full suit with the red pocket square showing. Wait, what's this thought in my head?
"She just start?" Asked Marin.
(FN) got himself together. "Oh, yeah. The printing process can take a bit. Then having the inks settled. But, that's why we try to be the best in the city, right?"
"No kidding. The girls just love just looking around. They're saving up for dresses too. Soon you might have to double the store." Marin giggled.
"If that ever happened I can't even imagine what would happen. Glad that all of us are here regardless. But hey we love working downstairs and living upstairs. That said, head over to Mom and she can show you how it's coming out. Then when the yards are done then you can have it switched over to Gojo.
"This would be my first time working with custom printed fabric. I'm excited to part of something special." Gojo smiled.
"I'll leave you to it. I have to check up on something." (FN) walked away leaving the two of them to explore the shop for a little and then he went to the fitting room to calm himself down. The only thing he could think of was Marin in this future cosplay of Lady Hans. The snake woman with the big bust who had a huge crush on the protagonist while the main character himself was oblivious. Seeing her in her normal hair and the dress he could feel himself getting a little light headed.
Jesus man. Get it together. You're going to gush blood all over the curtains and Mom is going to put a foot up your ass. Stop it! Taking a few breaths to see if he could have it all pulled together. Okay. It was quiet and his heart rate began to go down. I got to talk to Tomiko. As much as I hate to admit it, they might be right. But how do I go about it? Does this change anything? She's the only one I can trust. Damn man.
~~~~~
This is a set up chapter of what is to come. And thank you for the suggestions of Marin's cosplays. More to come.
