Can you watch my kids? w/POVS

Jo's POV:

 "Auntie Jo, your phone is ringing." Zola says to me. I reply, "Yes I know. I'll pick it up once you go to bed." "But I don't want to go to bed." Zola whines. I give her my "don't play with me look and she goes to her room and gets in bed. My phone stops ringing and as I'm walking upstairs it starts ringing again. I run back downstairs and see that Meredith has called me at least 5 times. "Crap." I mutter. I go to Alex's room at her house and lay down and call Mer back. "It's about time you answer." She says in a laughing manner.

Meredith's POV: 

"It's about time you answer." I laugh when Jo picks up the phone. I have called her 5 times. "Yeah yeah. So what's up? You coming home or..." "About that," I say, "Chelsea wants me to stay with her tonight so I was wondering if you could stay with the kids for the night. I think Alex might be coming over there, but I'm not sure. I just told him you were with the kids." "Fine. I'll stay with your kids. But just because I love you guys." Jo says. I thank her and we make a small conversation and then we hang up. I hope Alex keeps her company.

Jo's POV:

After I agree to watch Meredith's kids again, we talk for a little and then we hang up. As soon as we hang up I turn off my phone and sigh so loud, I'm pretty sure the unconscious people in the E.R at the hospital could hear me. I get up and walk downstairs when I'm snatched into a hug by someone behind me. I gasp and then realize it was just Alex. "You almost gave me a heart attack." I mutter out, trying not to be to loud. "What are you doing here anyway?" I ask, while Alex is trying to speak but he can't because he is to busy laughing. He calms himself down and says, "Mer told me you were probably not coming home tonight so I decided to come here. Now come on. Let's go to bed. You look exhausted." He got that right.
