*+* Isadora's POV *+*

"Everything we've tried has led us too here!" I said, throwing the spyglass to the ground which put a small dent in the side. Klaus picked the spyglass up.

"Isadora," He comforted me, "We need to think like the volunteers." Tears formed in my eyes. I wiped them with my sleeve.

"But we can't!" I turned around, away from Klaus. I saw in the wall a piece of porcelain. Klaus also looked, but frowned like he was sad. I assumed the porcelain was not the sugar bowl. Klaus led me to a bench nearby.

"I know!" Klaus got up, "Follow me!" By now I had stopped crying, so I followed. He stopped in front of a taxi. We got in. So, I wouldn't know, Klaus whispered where we were going in the driver's ear.

"Are you sure?" The driver said when Klaus said where we were going. Klaus just looked at him and so the driver took off. The ride was long and bumpy, but eventually we were at the destination. Prufrock Prep? I got out immediately.

"What the heck Klaus?" I said and Klaus looked at me.

"Isadora, trust me." He said reassuringly. We walked in and I followed Klaus to a room. He pounded on the door. A girl with copper hair to her knees and blue eyes answered the door.

"Hey August! Where's your roommate?" Klaus asked. The girl's name must've been August because she invited us in.

"Oh," August said, "My roommate is at the library! He'll be back..." She trailed off, "Now!" A few seconds later the door opened, and Quigley came in with a lollipop in his mouth.

"Oh my gosh! Izzy!" Quigley ran to me and high-fived me. "And Klaus!" He hugged Klaus. "Okay, now what do y'all want?" He took the lollipop out of his mouth.

"Do you know where the sugar bowl is?" Klaus asked.

"Yeah, the bowl's in the tunnel under 667 Dark Avenue." He casually answered like we were asking him his favorite color. Klaus dragged me out Prufrock and we went to the tunnel. When we eventually got there, we looked everywhere for at least a piece of the sugar bowl. It was very dark and hard to navigate, though. And I kept getting flashbacks to when I was trapped down there. Eventually, we found it, but we had no idea where we even were.

"Klaus!" I said, trying to tell him I found it. There was no answer. Just a never-ending echo of my voice bouncing off the walls. I started to panic. Where is he? I asked myself 27,895 times (yes, I counted). I was walking when I heard footsteps near me. I walked towards them and felt someone (Klaus) grip my hand. He spun me around where I was facing him. I knew because I saw a faint silhouette of his face. His hands traveled to my hips. I heard him chuckle and kissed me on the cheek.

"Making sure you're there." He said and chuckled. I rubbed my cheek when Klaus let go of me. "Okay, but actually is it, Isadora?"

"Yeah." I said and smiled. I held his hand the rest of the time it took to navigate our way out the tunnel. It was bright outside. When we were out of the tunnel we walked to the V.F.D headquarters to give it to Kit. Even though it wasn't dark I still grasped Klaus' hand. At the headquarters we gave it to kit.

"Thank you!" She said and took the sugar bowl.

"You now have a completed tea set!" I said and smiled.

"Your very welcome Kit!" Klaus said as we left.

"Klaus," I said.

"Yes?" He replied.

"I..." I paused. I just couldn't bring myself to say the phrase I wanted to say to him. I went for it. "Like you." Klaus blushed and smiled.

"I'd say that feeling's mutual." He said and kissed me, this time on the lips. I basically jumped out my skin, but it felt good. I had a lot to tell my siblings. But maybe I shouldn't. Or I should?
