Part 6: Meetings

Your hair moved at the soothing rythm in the air as you locked eyes with the one and only; Charlotte Morningstar

You had to blink a few times to make yourself belive it, the princess of Hell was standing just a few meters away from you, with a gray girl who seemed to observe you

Snapping out of your thoughts you made an effort to bow down with a respectful posture
" Your highness , i would like to-"

You were cut off shortly by a pair of white hands grabbig yours and you glanced up to see the princess with sparkles in her red ruben eyes
" Are you here for rehabiliation?!?"
She asked with such entusiasm in her voice as she clenced your hands tighter.

The way she acted with you completely blew you. Never once in your entire existence had someone of blue blood treated you like you with such happiness in their voices, let alone touching you.

It almost made you giggle at her childish actions but you managed to swallow it and cleared you throath before reapinding with another bow, still holding her hands
" Yes, your highness, i would like to check in."

" Please, no need to be like that, just call me Charlie and you don't need to bow."
She reassured you while looking into your eyes again

" Oh ofcourse "
You managed to speak up  with red cheeks. You feelt like you made an absolute buffon out of yourself and infront of the princess....

You looked over your shoulder to see that gray girl walking up to you two with her hand on her left hip, still seemiing to observe you every move until you let go of Charlies hands and brushed yourself off

" Y/n, pleasure to meet you two"
You said in a sweet tone and reached out your arm out for a handshake

Both Vaggie and Charlies eyes went wide open when they saw your polite behavior but where certiently not complaining at all. You didn't seem as rude or stuck-up as the rest of Hells citicens they've meet , you were like a breath of fresh air.

Vaggie shake hands with you with a smile
" Welcome to the Hazbin Hotel, Y/n."

You smiled back
" Thank you"

The three of you then went up the hill of the hotel and you saw its glory.

Your bag wasn't hard to carry up since your lack of belongings and Charlie started to ramble on and on about the hotel, the rules and the goals of you suceed

" Has anyone ever made it before?"
You asked with hope dripping in your voice as you brought your bag up to your chest

Charlie eyes dropped in emberassment
" No, not yet.."
But she shook the sadness away from her face quickly and was back to her golly self
" But that dosen't mean it won't work!"
She winked at you while giving you the finger gun

You brought up your hand up to your mouth but even that wasn't enough to prevent several giggles from escaping your lips
" You're so funny, princess."
You said between your small chuckles."

Vaggie simply nodded at you with a tired smile
" You'll get used to it."

We'd just reached to top off the hill when the Teo girls stopped midsentence and Vaggie growled

Standing by the porch of the Hotels front door stood two sinners

The first one of the left reminded you of a covers cause of the tail and his gray scales that stone in the light. Judging by his style of clothing he must've died  either in the late 1800s or the early 1900s. He had a bright smile on his lips while waving at us innocently

The other one were like the same height as you. She also had scales but she reminded you more of some sort of lizard or fish rather than a snake. She had her arms crossed as she leaned over the porch fence but then she noticed your presistence very quickly as her fin-like ears perked at the side as she snapped her head to look at you three.

When her eyes landed on Vaggie it was like she frooze. Her pupils shrunk and her mouth open a little as if she'd seen her before

Then your eyes meet. She scanned your body for just a few moments before raising an eyebrow and cringed.

Before you could take another step Vaggie went up to the snake demon and punched him straight in the face and pulled out some kind of spear from her back and pointed it at him while he tried to defend himself
" Wait! Wait wait!"
He stumbled on his words

" What are you doing here?!"
Vaggie asked in a sharp voice

The snake adjusted his posture as he looked at the princess with an apolegetic look
" I didn't come here looking for a fight . I um, i heard that you're helping people. People who wants to be better...?"
He said cheepsly as he shrugged

I didn't trust that one bit , i can see right threw when someone is fake.

But Charlie didn't seem to notice this one bit as she took his big claws in hers with a cheerful gasp in her throath
" You heard right!"
She then turned to the other one
" And you too!?"

The girl perked up at the volume in her voice and huffed with annoyence
" ... Yes...."

At this rate Charlie was dragging all of us into her hotel like a kid dragging in their parents in a candy store after convincing Vaggie to let this " Sir Pentious " in.

Vaggie told me that he was trying to destroy the hotel a few hours ago as she med me threw the door and that just made you more supicious of this snake man but you tried to shake it off cause you didn't want to get into trouble on your first day.

And that girl was just straight up rude.

Cringing at your apperence, how faoul of her!"

When you all were in her yellow eyes observed everything in the hotel but a cold face that made shivers run down your spine

What have i gotten myself into?
Was all you could ask yourself as Charlie showed you around the hotel.
