AUTHOR'S POV

"MITTHU" Aaditya called out as he walked inside the room.

His eyes wide open, blown at the sight in front of him. He started looking for someone while moving his eyes from corner to corner. While looking around, his eyes fell on the girl sitting inside the suitcase, wearing a short night suit, covered in a pile of clothes.

Seeing her like this, Aaditya burst into laughter.

Hearing Aaditya's laughter, she took her face out from the pile of clothes, narrowing her eyes in anger, knitting her brows and pursed face, she asked "Why are you laughing?"

Holding back his laughter, Aaditya shook his head and uttered "what are you doing? we have to leave in exact half an hour, remember? and looking at this sight, it seems that packing ka p bhi nahi hua hai."

(packing has not been done)

Melting the ice cream of her anger with her innocence, Maithili jumped out of her suitcase and ran after her brother, she intertwined her hand with his and with a broad smile she said "bhaisa, mere pyaare pyaare bhaisa, aap mujhe 10 minute do, packing ke p se le kar g tak sab chutki mei kar lungi."

("Bhaisa, my dear dear Bhaisa, you give me 10 minutes, I will do everything from p of packing to g of packing in a jiffy.")

Running back to the same pile of clothes, she quickly started packing her suitcase.

Suddenly remembering the forgotten thing, Aaditya said, "Oh yes, I remembered that, um... he will come to pick you up, you don't have a problem, right?"

While putting the clothes in the suitcase, her hands got stuck. The mention of him, brought a smile on her face, but the next moment she remembered the bad memories of that day.

"hm" she hummed softly, without turning around and meeting his gaze.

Tears welled up in her eyes, She was trying hard to stop those tears from flowing down, blinking her eyes, but burning sensation in her eyes, made her to squint her eyes, freeing the captured tears allowing them to flow down her cheeks.

Nodding his head, Aaditya walked out of the room, letting Maithili to pack all her stuff.

Tears were flowing and Maithili, sobbing, tried to pack her suitcase as quickly as possible, but the scenes of that day were flashing in front of her mind and eyes.

Trying to cheer up her sad mood, she whispered to herself, "mera pehla pyaar adhura reh gaya, rifatbi, mera pehla pyaar adhura reh gaya." Wiping the tears running down her cheeks with her palms, she laughed, her voice hoarsed.

("My first love remained incomplete, Rifatbi, my first love remained incomplete.")

45 minutes had passed, Maithili had packed all her stuff and herself was ready wearing short strapless kurti and baggy jeans. standing in front of the mirror she was adding accessories to her look making it presentable.

With a knock on door, Maithili looked up at the reflection of Aaditya in mirror, his expression of shock.

Rolling her eyes at him, she proceeded getting ready.

"you aren't ready yet? " Aaditya uttered in amusement.

"Get ready before he comes, otherwise I will have to listen to the speech about value of time along with you." he said alerting her.

Maithili turned around, facing Aaditya with longing eyes, she pouted her lips, "how terrified are you of him? oh bhaisa, i feel sorry for you. you seem more like his secretary than a jija," she snickered at him.
