Megumi, Nobara and Yuji sat idly at there respective desk, in the hot and humid atmosphere of their classroom. It was burning outside, so was the usual summer in Tokyo.
Yuji was ecstatic, he really wanted to go out and have a nice, fun walk around the beautiful gardens of jujutsu high, maybe even take Kugisaki and Fushiguro to the movies too. There was a brand new, bad horror movie releasing in the theatres today. The 'Human Earthworm ' movie series is by far his favorite 'bad horror movies' series.
Nobara, on the other hand, wished to simply leave the confines of her tall fortress, a.k.a hot sweaty classroom, and trail off into the world where our princess believes she truly belongs : The mall. She was dying to buy herself a new pair of sneakers.
On the other hand, all Megumi hoped for was a peaceful, quite afternoon, spent inside his dorm or the local café, with this nice book that he picked yesterday at the nearby bookstore.
None of the young, blooming, youthful jujutsu first years were in any mood to train.
Fortunately for them, their sensei was late. Gojo Satoru had a weird knack for teaching, and despite them being his beloved pupils, each one of his students could agree that he was a horrible teacher. Strong, but terrible at tutoring. He was infamous for letting his students into the battlefield without prior instructions and leave them to fend for their own. He said he loved giving his type first hand experience against curses.
Curses? More like death.
Strangely enough, it was weird for their sensei to be this late. Had he been summoned for a mission? Did something go wrong? But eh. Who cares? The more late he is, the more time our favourite trio gets to procrastinate.
Suddenly the shoji door slid open. Ah, speak of the devil. Gojo sensei was here. Accompanied by an extremely vexed Nanami, who was roughly shoving Gojo through the door. Gojo sensei looked slightly distressed. Sad almost. Disheartened? Maybe someone passed away?
"Get in" Nanami said as he pushed Gojo inside. "And stop sulking. It isn't like you at all"
"What happened? Are you alright sensei?" Yuji asked, the only of concerned out of the trio.
Nanami heaved a loud sigh. Did things look alright at all?
"Everything is fine itadori-kun" Nanami said, shoving Gojo heavy frame down on the chair.
"Fine? Everything is fine you say? This is far from fine!?" Gojo exclaimed, running his long fingers through his sliver hair.
"What's the matter?" Fushiguro asks. A slight scar of worry etched his face. Megumi had never seen Gojo like this. It seemed he didn't sleep last night. Shoulders slumped, hair messy and apparent signs of sleepless night covered his young face. Was he over-working himself? That can't be right, Gojo was by far the most energetic person Megumi had ever seen. Have you ever been chased by him? It's similar to being chased by a golden retriever. That's why Megumi never played tag with Gojo as a kid.
"It's the end of the world. I can't believe it." Gojo mumbled.
"It's not the end of the world, Gojo." Nanami said.
"It is! If a person like her got engaged, why not me, Nanamin? She's literally a grandma!" Gojo yelled.
" What's going on?" Yuji asked.
