Lee Jennie was aware that like most big companies, the structure of Kim Enterprise would be similar to the one in her grandfather's company. The higher one's office was located in the building, the more powerful and outstanding their position was. Aside from the people from the security team, only the receptionists were on the ground floor and they were usually rankless.

She knew that if anyone adhered to her request, it would result in their immediate expulsion and they can also be possibly blacklisted.

Lee Jennie knew it would be pointless to continue pestering the receptionist and saw the obvious relief on the receptionist's face when she politely thanked her without making any unreasonable demands.

With a heavy sigh, she could only walk away and think of an alternative. But she didn't want all her effort to be in vain, so she pulled out her phone and see if there was anyone she could call that wasn't Kim Taehyung.

Without watching where she was going, she had roughly collided with someone and heard the sound of papers falling to the ground. Silence descends on the bustling lobby and it turned so quiet that not even a single pin drop could be heard.

Confused at what just happened, she raised her head to see Park Jimin staring down at her with a group of seemingly important men following behind him. Her eyes scanned the environment and deducted that he had dropped his files on the floor when she bumped against him.

"I'm sorry-" She hurriedly said and was about to bend down to help pick them up but he suddenly grabbed her.

"Leave that to someone else. What are you doing here?" He asked her while he gestured towards an employee who scrambled to pick up all of the papers.

"At least let me help her. I was in the fault as well." She frowned, eyeing his hand which immediately released her.

"Indeed, you're also at fault. But there is a man upstairs who will have my head to see your fingers touch the floor." Park Jimin said, his expression stoic and stony. She could see why Kim Lisa often complained about her brother's secretary and called him the 'Ice King'.

"A man who will have your head?" She dumbfoundedly repeated his analogy, eyeing him like he had gone crazy.

"Yes and I'm sure you already know who." Park Jimin scrutinized her as he sized her up. This was only the second time that he had seen her in person, but he knew too much about her because of all the in-depth investigation he had to do on her background. He knew she had a high IQ. She even graduated from Harvard Business School early. But it seems that just like his boss, this genius of a woman was lacking in EQ.

"Putting that thought aside, what are you doing at the company? Does he know you're here?" Park Jimin purposely decided to not name his boss here. Right now, even if they were inside Kim Taehyung's territory, they were still in the least secure part of the building. It would do no good for him to reveal this woman's connection to the boss, especially with the ruthless executives standing behind him.

"I wanted to deliver something but the post office was closed. Since you're here, can you deliver it?" She asked him while handing him the envelope in her hand. She quickly caught on to what he was attempting to do and decided to obediently comply with it.

Park Jimin's impression of her had slightly improved. It seems that this woman truly was quick-witted. When they last met, even if he saw how she had taken care of Kim Taehyung, he also knew of the commotion that had happened while she was there. This time around, it seemed that she wasn't as foolish as he originally thought.

"I can but wouldn't it be better if you personally handed this to him?" He refused to make any move to take the envelope from her outstretched hand.

"No, I can't. I'm busy today."

"Doesn't seem like you are." He deadpanned, gesturing to her casual clothes.

Lee Jennie's eyebrows knitted together at his behavior. She disliked how he was trying to persuade her to go upstairs to personally see Kim Taehyung. She was worried he would still be in a bad mood.

She knew it was cowardly of her to refuse to face him, but she did not want to be rejected yet again. Her heart had undergone too many rejections, and she was not sure if she could take it if it comes from him as well.

"Well I am and-"

"I'm sure you can spare a few minutes to personally see him. Follow me. I'm on a tight schedule here." He said, gesturing to the men waiting behind him who was curiously looking at her, trying to guess who she was for the CEO's right hand to be this accommodating.

Lee Jennie looked at the executives who seemed to be impatiently hurrying her up with their gazes to stop wasting their time. She sighed and reluctantly followed Park Jimin with a sullen expression.

He turned his face away from her, secretly smirking. He had sneakily asked the boss's security detail yesterday and found out that the boss had spent the night at Sky Arc Complex.

When he learned of the truth, he realized that he had ruined the boss's quality time with his woman which explained why his boss was in a grim mood throughout all of the meetings.

But Park Jimin refused to accept the fact it was his fault for ruining the day. His boss had always made it clear that work was a priority and he wouldn't even spend the entire night with any of the women he previously had relations with.

Because of his unhappiness, the entire company was on edge and no one in his team dared to leave the office before their CEO. Forcing Kim Taehyung to leave the office when he was in such a horrid state was a job for anyone who had a death wish.

He was silently cheering inside, knowing he might get a bonus for making sure that the Dragon's treasured pearl was delivered to his side. Maybe he can finally ask for vacation leave to spend time with his wife! He hoped her sudden visit would curb the anger and frustration the boss was feeling when he had delivered the photographs that came in this morning.
