The moon cast its silvery glow over the city, I geared up for another mission. "It's quiet out there tonight," I remarked to Jane over the ear piece, the night air tinged with anticipation.
"Yeah, too quiet for comfort," Jane replied, her voice tinged with caution. "Stay alert!"
As I prepared to embark on my mission, Jane's voice came through my earpiece, guiding me with a calm demeanor.
"Alright, you're in position now," she began, her voice steady and reassuring. "Head straight down the corridor, then take the second right. There'll be two guards stationed near the entrance."
I nodded at the camera, where she's keeping an eye on me, mentally mapping out her directions as I moved.
While I moved silently following her instructions, I heard her laughter resonating through the ear piece.
"Hey, Jane. What's going on?" My voice slow and steady.
Controlling her wave of laughter, she answered back to me. "Oh, you're in for a treat! So, picture this: two guards at the entrance, totally oblivious to the world because they're arguing about who ate the last donut."
I let out an mocking laugh to her, "Seriously?"
"Oh yeah, they're so engrossed in their own debate to notice their incoming danger. Pufft dorks!"
Finally reaching the said debate, I mentally prepared a scheme to take down two of them at once.
Emerging from the shadows, I let out a low chuckle at them.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk, look at this 5 year olds, fighting over some piece of flour."
Hearing my voice, they cut short their debate and looked at my direction with shock and fury.
"Oh yeah, baby girl! Then us show who's a 5 year old now."
With that, the two of them charged at me, raising their hefty baseball bats.
I braced myself, ready to meet their onslaught head-on. As they closed the distance, I moved with calculated steps, sidestepping their wild swings and countering with swift strikes of my own.
The air crackled with tension as our movements intertwined in a chaotic dance of combat. Each blow landed with a resounding thud, sending shockwaves through the air.
Despite their numerical advantage, I held my ground with unwavering determination, turning their momentum against them with every well-timed maneuver.
In the midst of the chaos, I remained calm and focused, exploiting every opening and flaw in their approach. With each passing moment, it became clear that victory was within reach, even against overwhelming odds.
Lastly finishing the one who called me with pet name, I let his body limp on the ground, blood splattered everywhere as I finished them off with slitting their throats.
As the dust settled from the frenzied clash, I took a moment to catch my breath, my muscles thrumming with the residual energy of the confrontation. Amidst the aftermath, Jane's voice broke through the silence, laced with concern.
"Hey, are you okay?" she asked, her tone soft with genuine worry.
I glanced down at my bruised elbow, feeling the sting of exertion pulsing through my being. Despite the physical toll, a sense of triumph surged within me, knowing that the first course have been finished.
"Yeah, I'm alright," I replied, my voice tinged with exhaustion but buoyed by the adrenaline still coursing through my veins. "Just a few scratches and bruises, but nothing I can't handle."
