Jane's voice crackled softly in Min-ah's earpiece as she made her towards building for another mission. "Alright, Min-ah, you're at the west entrance. Two guards, ten o'clock. You know what to do."
Min-ah moved like a shadow, her footsteps silent on the cold marble floor. She slipped a dagger from her belt and approached the guards from behind. A quick, fluid motion and the first guard crumpled to the floor. The second guard barely had time to register his partner's fall before Min-ah's blade found its mark.
"Guards down," Min-ah whispered, pressing herself against the wall. "Next?"
"Good. Head straight down the corridor. There's a staircase at the end, and one guard patrolling the landing," Jane instructed, her eyes scanning the blueprints displayed on her screen.
As Min-ah made her way down the corridor, Jane's voice came through her earpiece, steady and clear. "Well, I didn't expect this boss to near his death anytime soon. He's been one of the most trusted partners with our family untill he decided to betray and cut ties with us. Now that bastrad is working for our enemies like a dog on leash. Your father had a good relationship as business partners. He trusted him the most."
"Yeah, well, he threw that trust out the window," Min-ah muttered, pressing herself against the wall as she listened for footsteps. "Which way now?"
"Take a left at the next junction. One guard ahead, keep it quiet," Jane instructed.
Min-ah moved, her mind partially on the task at hand and partially on Jane's story. She crept up on the guard, dispatching him quickly and silently. "Guard down. Go on, Jane."
Jane's voice continued, a mix of bitterness and disappointment. "He saw an opportunity with the enemies. More money, more power. He betrayed us. He deserves more than just death."
Min-ah clenched her jaw, her anger simmering beneath the surface. "As much as I like to skin him alive, I've got better things to do more than killing him."
"Yeah, right," Jane chided gently. "There's a guard patrolling the next hallway. You know what to do."
Min-ah nodded, even though Jane could see her from the footage. She timed her movements perfectly, taking down the guard with swift efficiency. "Guard down. Moving up."
"Good. Two more floors". Jane continued."
Min-ah's grip tightened on her dagger. "I can't wait to see the look on his face when he realizes his fate is on my very hands."
"Bet it'll be marvelous. Hey! You almost there. Three guards and then the boss", Jane reminded her.
Min ah stood at the end of the hallway, twirling the dagger with a mischievous smile as she made her way towards them, she whistled a cheerful tone catching the three's attention. They turned towards the sound, eyes narrowing as they reached for their wepons.
"Good evening, boys!" She called out, her voice laced with playfulness. "Let's play", And then adds a wink in the end.
The first guard charged at her, but min ah sidestepped effortlessly, slashing his leg. He crumpled on the floor, face palmed and she leand in close. "Maybe, try walking next time." She adds before moving on.
The second guard was more cautious, circling around her with his baton ready.
Min ah's knife flashed in dim light as she deflected his swings, her movements fierce and deadly. With a swift motion. She disarm him and staggered back. "Tsk, tsk." She chied, "You really should've practiced more."The third guard hesitated, clearly shaken seeing his fallen comrades.in ah grinned, advancing at him with a predatory grace, He swung his baton wildly, but she ducked under his arm, slicing a shallow cut across his chest. "Oops! Missed a spot." She said with mock apology before delivering a final, disabling strike.
