Second chance [Beomjun/Yeongyu]

Part I

  "Beomgyu, please~ For my sake!" An older female begged him.
 
  "Eonni, stop!!! If he doesn't want to go then it's fine." A year old younger girl said.
 
  "Ugh, it's easy for u to say that, Winter. You're not the one got set up on a blind date by your friend." The older girl continue to rant.
 
  "Why Beomgyu in the first place?" The other female said.
 
  "All of us basically look the same. And do I have to remind all of u how our sexuality orientation works?" The older continued.
 
  "What do you mean by the same, Noona?" Beomgyu finally spoke up, quite pissed.
 
  "Just look at us! Besides, you're bisexual." She said and Winter almost spat out her choco smoothie.
 
  The other girl covered herself from bursting into laughter.
 
  "Why did that suddenly came out?!" Beomgyu pouted.
 
  "Awe~ Pleaseeee~" She begged.
 
  "Is it a girl?" The other girl asked.
 
  "Yes, Ryujin-ah. That's why I refused to go so much!" the older exclaimed.
 
  "Hm, why don't you go and just check it out, Gyu? Maybe if you don't have that kind of liking towards the girl, you can just be friends with her?" Ryujin suggested.
 
  "Yeah, I agree with Ryujin." Winter commented.
 
  "Ugh fine. I'm doing this on your behalf, Chaewon Noona. But remember to pay me back anything that I want." Beomgyu said and Chaewon cheered happily.
 
  "Of course! I'll buy you anything that you want!" Chaewon exclaimed and Beomgyu sighed.

   The blind date day has come and Beomgyu couldn't be more 'excited'.
  
   "Woah,,, you look good twinsies!" Ryujin laughed as she sat on the counter top of the kitchen.
  
   "Haha very funny, Ryujin-ah." Gyu sarcastically said which made the tomboyish girl laughed even louder.
  
   "Have fun!" Winter said while conatining her laughter and Gyu sent a bombastic side eye towards the said girl.
  
   He reluctantly arrived at the cafe and sighed before going inside.
  
   He saw a beautiful girl sitting alone at a table.
  
   "Uhm-" Beomgyu faked a cough and she looked up to him. Beomgyu sighed in relief bcs this girl is beautiful. He wouldn't spend the night with a... uhm anyways.
  
   "Oh? Are you my blind date?" The girl asked and Beomgyu nodded, "I guess." He said.
  
   " I thought it's a girl?" The girl asked, a hint of curiosity could be heard through her voice.
  
   "Um, she refused at the last minute? But I am glad that she did." Beomgyu said and the girl chuckled, "Same actually. You seemed nice." She said and Beomgyu just chuckled.
  
   "Have you ordered?" Beomgyu asked, lifting up the mood rather than being silent.
  
   The girl shook her head while handing the menu to Beomgyu. "I don't know what to eat. Why don't you check the menu first and I'll just order one like you?" She suggested and BG just nodded.
  
   "What about Yang Guo Fu Malatang?" BG asked. "Sure! And i want just Iced tea." She said and BG nodded.
  
   He pressed the bell and sent the order to the waiter, "Two Yang Guo Fu Malatang and two Iced teas."
  
   "By the way, my name is Karina and I'm a '00 born." she introduced herself and Beomgyu smiled to that.

   "I'm Beomgyu, '01 liners." He said and she exclaimed in surprised.
  
   "That's awesome! We're a year apart and I'm older!" She exclaimed happily which made Beomgyu laughed.
  
   "How many siblings do you have?" She asked and Beomgyu sighed. "I have four siblings. Sadly, all the other three are girls." BG said and she laughed.
  
   "Well, I understand how you feel. I have 3 brothers." She said and Beomgyu widened his eyes and they laughed.
  
   "Aren't they mad if they know that you're going out on a blind date?" Beomgyu asked. "I'm scared that they might hunt me down." He said and Karina laughed.
  
   "They are... quite oldies yk?" Karina said and she just chuckled. "But they became like that because they work in the company type of job." She explained.
  
   "What about you? What's your job?" Beomgyu asked and she smiled, "I'm a model. I work as a model and currently trying my luck in the entertainment field." She said.
  
   When their foods arrived, they continued their talk.
  
   "What about you, Beomgyu? Do you mind sharing a bit about yourself?" She asked and Beomgyu thought for a while.
  
   "Well, there's nothing interesting abt me honestly. But if you want to know, then I'll tell you." Beomgyu said and Karina nodded.
  
   "Well, I open a cafe. I'll share with u the location after this. Well, going on, I hold half of the share from my parents' company. But, I chose to ignore it and work on my own. I have 3 sisters. 2 are the same age as I am. And an older sister." He said and Karina looked at him, surprised.
  
   "So you're triplets?" She asked and BG shook his head. "My father married my youngest sibling's mother and she was born from her." Beomgyu said and Karina nodded. Although it's clear that she's confused.
  
   "Her name is Winter. My biological siblings are Ryujin and Chaewon Noona." Beomgyu said and Karina finally understood.
  
   "Well, I have 2 older brothers ; Taeyong Oppa and Yeonjun Oppa and a brother the same age; Soobinie." She said.
  
   "He's adopted by my dad. He was found in front of our household when he's still a baby, in a carriage. The mother wrote out that she gave the baby because she was raped and couldn't face it looking at SB. She felt sorry and hoped my family could take care of him because she wants him to live a good life." Karina explained
  
   "I bet he's living the best life." He commented which made Karina smiled. "Thank you." She said and Beomgyu just nodded.
  
   "Oh, right! My brother is going to pick me up after this blind date." She said and Beomgyu smiled.
  
   "But... Do you feel the same way I feel?" She asked slowly.
  
   "That we are better off as friends?" Beomgyu asked unsure and she smiled while nodding.
  
   "I love everything about you! But it's just that,, looking at you I can't shake the feelings of you like a younger brother." She explained and Beomgyu chuckled.
  
   "I agree, Noona." He said and Karina's eyes widened. "Yahhhh,,, you need to call me that everytime!" She exclaimed and BG chuckled.
  
   Later, Karina's phone blast out with a loud ringtone. "oh! My brother must've been here!" She said and Beomgyu got up from his seat.
  
   "I shall walk you outside, Noona." He said and Karina smiled warmly.
  
   "Thank you, baby brother." She said and BG smiled widely.
  
   They stepped out from the restaurant to see a well suited male standing and leaning against the car. He had his arms folded in front of his chest and looked at them with emotionless look.
  
   'Sheesh, why is he like a typical rich guy in Kdrama?' Beomgyu thought in his mind.
  
   "Yeonjun Oppa! Here's Beomgyu. My new friend!" Karina said as she went over to the male and Yeonjun looked at her then at Beomgyu.
  
   "Who paid for the foods?" Yeonjun asked. "He did." Karina said, pouting.
  
   Yeonjun walked over to Beomgyu and handed over a $100 dollar bill.
  
   "What's this for?!" Beomgyu asked, shocked.
  
   "Ah, Beomgyu-yah..." Karina called out to him and Beomgyu panned his eyes to her.
  
   "what's this, noona?" Beomgyu asked desperately.
  
   "Noona?" Yeonjun questioned.
  
   "Ah, that's the payback money. My family isn't the type to let others pay for our foods. And, Yeonjun Oppa, Beomgyu is younger than me! I have a younger brother now!" Karina said and Yeonjun just nodded.
  
   "Ah, I don't need this money." BG said.
  
   Ignoring Beomgyu, Karina just waved goodbye and entered the car. Yeonjun still standing in front of Beomgyu.
  
   "I don't need this payback money!" Beomgyu said and Yeonjun scoffed. "Aren't you glad to be paired up with my younger sister? She has a fortune." He said and Beomgyu squinted his eyes.
  
   "Is this really how rich people acted?" he scoffed and Yeonjun raised an eyebrow.
  
   "Btw sir, I am rich too." Beomgyu said as he gave the money back to Yeonjun. "And when I paid, it's what we call "Manner" as a gentleman. And besides it's our first meeting, Noona can treat me to ice creams as a payback. If it only costs her $5 then, that doesn't matter. Manner." He said with sarcasm.
  
   Yeonjun just scoffed.
  
   "Well, fine then. I know manners too, that's why I'm paying you back. Manners on behalf of my family." Yeonjun replied.
  
   "Oh really? It's such a wonderful mannerism shown by you when you scoffed me out of nowhere just right after Noona entered the car." Beomgyu clapped his hands and Yeonjun just chuckled.
  
   "You're a feisty type." Yeonjun said before leaning in closer. Beomgyu didn't know what happened to him, but he just stuck to the ground and stood there, not even moving an inch.
  
   "Well, since my sister isn't interested in you, maybe I can take the chance to get closer to you because, I am (interested)." He whispered into Beomgyu's ear before slipping the hundred dollar bill back into Beomgyu's pants pocket and went over to drive away with Karina.
  
   Beomgyu got his sense back and rode on his bicycle instead of using any other expensive bike collection he has to go home.
